  1. My guess is that only the really skinny/racing snake guys will state their true fat percentage, like you for instance colonel !!
  2. But mampara, does your body then have equal amounts of meat to fat ? it seems to be the case if it is 1:1. might be more towards 1:2 body to fat in your case, or am i mistaken ?
  3. In another thread it was asked to state your height and weight. Equally important is your bodyfat percentage. so here goes. 181cm , 85kg's and bodyfat % of 16.5 %. By no means a racesnake or mountaingoat !!!CaptainDura2008-11-27 00:28:28
  4. bought myself some " green mumba" for the hell and back ride, but when i opened the bag to get them out the first morning one had picked up a leak and everything was sticky. Whasp need to have a look at this potential problem. otherwise the taste was bad as stated before but not lasting and the kick was good, so i will use it again.
  5. that puts a whole new spin on the word "cramp"
  6. I ordered my stuff from CRC on friday. I just received my order. Everything in the box and very speedy indeed. they even delivered the big box. did not have to go fetch it at the post office. that is good, efficient fast service from abroad.(and the local customs and post office people i might add) I am impressed.
  7. dont let these fools mislead you. you eat the corned beef put a slice on a roll with some mayo and eat it. i am using rennies at the moment and it works fine. as soon as you feel the warning shot in your legs, take 1 to 3 rennies with some water. whether it is the placebo effect or whether it really does something i dont know. just know that i dont cramp with the rennies.
  8. anyone heard or are using corned beef (boeliebeef) for cramps ? I heard from someone it works, just dunno if its true ?
  9. erm.....because THAT rim is wider in that area?
  10. was on the darker side already, the carbon one was a mountainbike. But now i am in pitch blackness......
  11. (sing this to the tune of "I once was lost") "I once was Ponced, but now UN-Ponced, tralalaa, la-lalaa, lala-laaaaaa!!!" Ok so I have UN-Ponced myself. How did i do that, you might ask ? I changed from riding an uber-light carbon-everything hardtail, to a brand spanking new Aluminium-carbon-nothing full suspension. Yip bought myself a giant x1 FS and doing the hell and back on it this weekend. will post pics of the newly aquired steed on Monday (after washing it of course ) so in the words of another famous hubber "dont be a ponce"
  12. Im leaving at one. gonna make a pitstop at ronnies s@x shop just to prepare properly. Seeyallthere.
  13. according to the weather forecast it looks to be dry this year.
  14. yip i amongst others will be right there on saturday(feeling like this and sunday morning going up feeling like this ).
  15. My polar speedsensor is leaking a bit and water gets in there somehow. it then contaminates the battery connectors and stops working. its a pain to clean it out every month. do you think they can fix it or do i buy a new one ? and where in ct can i send it to ?
  16. hows this picture of the hell. Puuurdy.
  17. Hey Carlo congrats on the new bike. You are going to enjoy it tremendously. have fun.
  18. I reckon that will be my excact setup. monorail front and crossmark at the back. thanks
  19. they are these
  20. anybody tried the maxxis monorail tyres yet. Question: Are they as robust as the crossmarks, meaning thorn and cut resistant ? Are they lighter ? do they have less rolling resistance than the crossmarks ?
  21. Hey mackem Is that cycles direct shop in the backround ?
  22. Collin I think availability is still your biggest problem. anybody that did the argus this year saw your add about getting 2 of your gels for any other brand gel exchanged so your marketing is working. I cannot get whasp at the durbell pharmacy i go to to for supplements, its not at my local lbs, its not at sportsmans warehouse. Another mention on this thread was that of visibility. I recall you selling some shirts a while ago. I am sure that if you make these shirts like very very cheap for us to buy, most of us would (like make it R100 per shirt or something rediculous) This advertising would be invaluable if you have a a couple hundred of these shirts at races etc where your brand will be seen by a lot of people. also the shirts last a long time and the cost of this type of ad is invaluable in the long run. my 2c worth
