but do they insure when you are racing ? Most of the insurers have a clause (in very fine print) that when you damage your bike during a race you cannot claim. Double check your insurers. This is why i want to go to pedalcare because they do replace even during racing.

They will want you to have a selection list of about 20 dvds. That way' date=' you'll always be sent something, as it becomes available.[/quote'] So in theory they say they will deliver in 1-2 days but in reality it might take a week or 2 before you receive dvd's when your selection contains the latest and most popular movies. Does not sound too good to me. Normally one wants to watch a movie when you want to watch it and not in a weeks time. Then again you can keep it forever and watch it exactly when and where you want to. Plus the latest movies are always out in the video stores anyway so you have to wait there as well... lets wait and see if this thing takes off...

So what happens in the case that the new release you want to see is not available and the 10(or 100 or whatever amount) copies they have is hired and sits at someones house for a month. Does that mean you have to wait a month before you get sent the movie you wanna see...???

Another question. When buying new sealed bearings, do they run smooth and friction free or are there friction on them because of the grease inside ?

Those wheel bearings are sealed units so i dont think you can reapply grease after cleaning it out with degreaser.. What to do? what to do?

does anyone have any knowledge of when to replace wheelbearings. I might be imagining things (or i am just way more unfit than i used to be) but it feels as if my front and back wheelbearings are more difficult to turn than what it was before causing more friction. Should wheel bearings be free turning or should there be some friction on the bearing ? When I turn my mtb front wheel at a certain speed the wheel makes about 10 revolutions. when i do the same with my road bike the wheel makes 3 times that. Is it just the added weight of the wheel and the tires that makes the difference ? Does wheel bearings becomme stiffer with more friction or looser with more play when they are past their due time. There are no play when I move the wheel side to side, but definitely some friction...

Man that sucks. I hope someone somewhere can help you out with a hub.

That garmin speed and cadence meter is worthless. The battery on that thing lasts like maybe two weeks then it stops working and you need to replace the battery.

Make sure you turn the gaftamagodey with the thingy until it shifts down but not too far so it drops the chain of the chainring

Has anyone used liquid Grease (Spanjaard) on your bicycle chains before. It seems that it could be a very good lube, especially if you get it under the rollers and wipe off the excess. Or will it just attract too much gunk ?

Ok Ok... Got myself some spanjaard liquid grease yesterday and went to work on the mtb wheels.(and everywhere else where I knew there was a bearing that needed some grease for that matter) Checked each spoke and nipple and im glad to report that all of the nipples are still in very good condition and are easy to turn. Put a small amount of liquid grease on each nipple, wiped off the excess and Im sure im good to go for another couple of years. That spanjaard sure is good stuff, I put it on my motorbike chain as it is so easy to apply and comes out so thin that it penetrates deep into the rollers very easily and then thickens to form the grease. I also sprayed it on my pedals where the bearings are and this weekend im gonna open up and go for my headset bearings and my crank bearings. I might even do my wheelbearings if I have enough time.... wonderful stuff this.

Hey the file is missing. I see only the 2007 zip file and some other races. What gives?

It seems this is not something that is currently happening to anybody out there. Might have been a false alarm. Any mechanics out there that have seen this happen ? Johan Bornman ?
