  3. Technically, yes.If you don't have proof that you took a "bike/frame" out the country they could treat it as an import when you return. I'm not sure if they need to physically see the bike, and they definitely would know the difference in value.
  4. I originally planned for 150, and then updated my files (yesterday) to cater for 600. Imagine the other online games where they cater for thousands?

  7. Short answer = Yes, but you need to make your own arrangements to collect your prize.
  8. No duties on a frame but VAT is due... FOB value * Ex.Rate * 1.1 * 0.14 = VAT amount. On that R52K frame, VAT is R8,008 - don't declare it and get caught = big trouble. If it's a complete bike, different story. You can take the cheapy in a box and bring the complete bike back. Edit: spelling
  9. 204 entries so far... beats the record of 80-something participants a few years ago.
  10. You can add NOR: Edvald Boasson-Hagen (MTN-Qhubeka) too

    Rugby...

Interesting games coming up this weekend : Brumbies beat Hurricanes, in Wellington, earlier this year. 'Canes had a weekend off - sometimes a team loses that momentum. Brumbies had a cracker last week - what are the chances of another this and again next week? Brumbies travelled to SA, then back in a week - what would that do? 'Canes lost 2 (1 home, 1 away), while Brumbies lost 7 (4 away, 3 home). Highlanders beat the Waratahs at home earlier this year. 'Tahs also had weekend off. Highlander's don't have to travel too far. Both lost 5 games, 2 home and 3 away Who to pick? Superbru is the only thing keeping me partially interested to the end of the season. Canes vs Tahs final, me thinks. But that weekend off is got me pondering the away teams causing an upset.
  12. Keep an eye on the start list for the riders qualifying for the YOUNG RIDER (White Jersey) competition... provisional until all teams are confirmed. http://www.procyclingstats.com/race.php?id=149964&c=6&statistic=sl_ranked_u25
  13. National Champs results, where riders taking part in the Tour...
  14. And let's hope it's close enough that they attack each other stukkend on multiple stages. How cool would it be if the jersey changed hands almost every day?
  15. Some dummies info on the Tour... it's Friday, after all. http://www.dummies.com/how-to/content/knowing-some-important-tour-de-france-regulations.html Knowing Some Important Tour de France RegulationsTour rules and regulations are detailed in race Articles. Listed in the Technical Guide, they range from participation to disqualification, medical care to prize money. Rules are written and detailed in French and English. Because French is the universal language in cycling (Lance Armstrong, for example, is fluent), French interpretation of rules prevails in instances in which a language barrier may cloud a definition... more
  16. With Stage 20 being revised (the Galibier no longer part of the stage), they have dropped the Cat1 climb, meaning their will only be KOM points available on the 2x HC climbs (with double points on the summit finish). Old route (Col du Telegraphe - Cat1, Galibier - HC and Alpe-d'Huez - HC) http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/03081/stage20_3081331a.jpg New Route http://www.letour.fr/PHOTOS/TDF/2015/2000/PROFIL.png
  17. It works according to the table... the highest score in the relevant jersey category, or the person in last place, or anyone that picked the riders in the break. I will ask Admin to amend the wording so it sounds more like the table (see below). So, Stage 2, 8 & 17 - the person with the most points scored on these three stages;Stage 3 & 11 - anyone that picked the RIDER that holds the green jersey at the end of the stage;Stage 4 & 12 - the person with the most points in the competition, at the end of the stage;Stage 5 - anyone that picked RIDER(S) in the break on stages, 2, 3, 4 & 5;Stage 13 - anyone that picked RIDER(S) in the break on stages 6, 7, 8, 10, 11, 12 & 13;Stage 18 - anyone that picked RIDER(S) in the break on stages 14, 15, 16, 17 & 18;Stage 6 & 14 - anyone that picked the RIDER that holds the white jersey, at the end of the stage;Stage 7 & 16 - whoever is in last place overall, at the end of the stage;Stage 15 & 19 - anyone that picked the RIDER that holds the polka dot jersey, at the end of the stage. If there is a tie, then there will be a draw to determine the winner. edit: corrected 4 & 12 wording - person who is leading the competition on the two stages. Added the words "at the end of the stage".
  18. You have to select a team first in the dropdown menu for the riders in that team to show. Repeat the process with other selected teams, then DRAG and DROP to the right.

  21. I'm having just as hard a time trying to pick my team (which won't be in line to win prizes - just doing it to see how I perform against everyone else). Seeing some of the ideas/thinking on how to pick points - hope the real Tour riders know that they need to perform.
  22. I like the way you've thought about it... out the box
  23. Down side... I'm hoping not, but you'll never know.
