  1. Yes, you can. BUT... if someone else crashes out you may want to keep one of them classic specialists.
  2. Thanks to Admin - it saves me (hours) having to capture everyone's picks manually.
  3. The route for stage 20 has been changed. http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/galibier-cut-from-tour-de-france-stage-to-lalpe-dhuezhttp://www.letour.fr/le-tour/2015/us/pre-race/news/ahc/stage-20-modane-l-alpe-d-huez-via-the-croix-de-fer.html The distance remains the same, but there is no clear indication about the KOM points at this stage. If anything changes, the points system will be updated according to the Tour's new allocation. The daily prize for Stage 20 is based on you picking the stage winner.

    Rugby...

I don’t feel justified at all, but rather feel that it has highlighted how poorly the SA teams have fared in relation to the other teams. The rules are there and they deserved the home playoff having finished top of the SA conference. I also wonder what effect the exodus of local players has had on each team's performance, if any. With so many players choosing to play abroad/retire that there could be a "don't give a ..." attitude.

    Rugby...

While I like "some" of the new rules of today, watching the game now on SS1 the rules from back then so simple, so basic and still flowing rugby.
  6. How easy is EASY? I was sitting in Z1 (power) and mostly Z2 (HR with cadence at about mid-70) on the "easy" bits. TrainingPeaks has returned a new Threashold Power value, which is 8 higher than my last FTP test, so I guess it must be right. I originally wanted to do some interval training tonight, but with load shedding my wi-fi only tablet couldn't verify my subscription to CVT. So I did your testing procedure on free ride (warm up for 15 instead of 20 to fit everything in to the 60 mins on trial mode). Let's say the test was far from easy - and wonder how much harder it will be if my "easy" on the easy bits was too easy.
  7. I went once earlier this year - saw the expressions on some people's faces... looks something like this: http://www.moonbattery.com/skeleton-in-chair.jpg
  8. Please note that I have a day job that pays this bills, and this competition is a hobby for me. If I can't answer your query immediately, it means that I'm: cycling;driving;with the family;with my cycle club;working.Don't panic, I will respond to your query at (hopefully) regular intervals during the day.
  9. Hard to say - some teams have finalised while others usually do so after the National Champs (this weekend). Some teams leave it to the last minute. Check at www.procyclingstats.com and look for the green tick next to the team's name. If you compose a team now, you can still edit it until 12:00 on 04 July. Thereafter it will be locked down until the rest day.
  10. I have entered my team and there were no problems. If it continues to give you problem selecting a specific team, please send a PM to Admin.
  11. Please familiarise yourself with: Game RULES and scoring formatHow to enter - https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/150521-the-hub-tdf-fantasy-comp-2015/?do=findComment&comment=2621085 The most up-to-date version of the rules, scoring, teams, riders and everything else will be available on page 1 (first 5 posts) for the duration of the competition.
  12. A big thanks to Admin for their efforts too... those prizes are awesome!
  13. Right - Admin has advised they are ready to rock 'n roll. Entries are now open Click on the link above that will take you to the entry portal where you can submit your team. Note: Many of the team start lists are not finalised, so we need to check back and confirm your line up before the start of the Tour.
  14. The substitutions are only there to keep you team scoring as many points as possible. Injury and non-performance by some riders is a possibility. However, the overall objective is to pick a team and hope they make it to Paris, just like the real team setup. If you're out of the running on the main competition, the substitutions can give you that opportunity to win a daily prize. This keeps as many people interested in the competition as possible.
  15. Yes, these can be any rider (stage 1, 10, 20 and 21) and team (stage 9). These picks are for daily prizes and won't affect your scoring in the main competition. The 100% bonus pick is for all 9 riders (excluding subs) that finish the Tour. It's not worth much, but did make a difference when I used the 2014 race as a test.
  16. We've used them for our new club kit (2014) and our "race" team kit (2015). edit: removed quote
  17. Fast with the keyboard, hey
  18. Yes - bigger and better than before... https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/150521-the-hub-tdf-fantasy-comp-2015/
  19. You'll have to figure it out before next week Saturday (4th of July), as you pick a team and can only make 3 substitutions on any of the two rest days. Get it wrong in the beginning and you're stuck for most of the first week. But then, who would have predicted that Froome, Berto and a few others would be retiring when they did in 2014.
  20. Team's start list confirmed so far: Team LottoNL-Jumbo MTN-Qhubeka BMC Racing Team Trek Factory Racing Bora-Argon 18 Lotto Soudal IAM Cycling FDJ Team Katusha Team Giant - Alpecin Etixx-Quick Step updated: 26-Jun
  21. Also have a set of Fulcrum 3's which I'm will be using for my new soon-to-be built, steel-framed, 11-speed build. Very happy with them.
  22. Heading is misleading... until you read the article.
