  1. Another reason why I don't like Smith.
  2. Thinking same as a car. A bicycle has the same right to be on the road as a car, whether the road is straight or a traffic circle. SA drivers don't know or don't care about the rules of the road and even less about cyclists, so always be careful.
  3. With all due respect: K@k, man! Klusener almost always batted far down the line with few overs and wickets remaining to cover a big run backlog. You can't compare his avg to those of opening batsmen. Disingenuous. And he was also handy as a bowler. Klusener is a LEGEND! Will always hate Smith for being such a tjop and forcing Klusener out of the squad.
  4. David LeDuc "LeDouche" http://media0.giphy.com/media/tiIYGcAk457lS/200_s.gif
  5. It would only apply if they increased their prices for the Christmas rush to catch their shoppers unaware and turn extra profit, so unless the 50% off sales are worse deals than usual, your example is spurious.
  6. Zuma looks after his family. And off I go to my holiday super resort in KZN homelands. Happy guilt-free holidays everyone Just pulling your leg. Obviously WW isn't as evil as JZ, but they both having an easy time fleecing an ignorant public.
  7. WW could source bigger chickens, but they aren't interested in value for money. Smaller chickens = lower cost and quicker roasting = bigger profits. And in true WW style they'd probably try to convince ppl that they're doing them a favour. LMAO Re: Redlight: I'm assuming your wife is in management. Enjoy.
  8. Thanks for the updates! Don't have TV atm so I appreciate the commentary!
  9. Triple Century. That's extreme. How do you survive so long in the saddle? My backside dies with anything more than 2 hours, but 305km must've taken at least 12 hours. Respect.
  10. One always hears about Christmas-inflated pricing, but I've never seen it myself. The WW rotisserie chickens are already expensive, but R80?! Pull the other one WW.
  11. Also had a similar unfortunate experience at his shop with scratch marks obviously from a spill and not shipping on a new bike. Doesn't understand that even the best shops make mistakes - his no exception.
  12. Delivery company contacted me today re: 25l CO. Package is in their Jhb office, just waiting for them to get their act together and drop it off. Good luck to everyone trying to eat healthily during the silly season. I failed and am paying the price (picked up weight and energy down the drain).
  13. The pistons might need to be aligned? Might want to try following: take wheel off, carefully press brake lever to push out pistons without popping the pistons out completely and wiping off any grime that may be trapped on the grommet.
  14. Silverton Cycles helped me with a replacement steel bearing. Now to find the lost screw that mounts the RD to the frame: FML
  15. Ordered a 25 litre bucket from the kind folk at Crede for R2.2k(incl R200 delivery). Don't have ETA yet for delivery, but should be soon. Happy to share as long as ppl bring own containers and cover costs. PM for details.
  16. Flip it, are these expensive systems worth it if you need to update freaking firmware to make your bike run nicely? There are people who flash their Xboxes using JTAG (?), so maybe with some research you can hook up your Di system to a serial port and flash it yourself
  17. http://www.credeoils.com/shop/food-oils/coconut-oil/ Website says it is organic and virgin. Bought 1 litre and enjoyed it, but it is expensive in small orders(>R150/litre). Its cloudy when solid and clear when liquid. Let me contact the supplier and get back here with a price ASAP. Everyone will have to bring their own containers. Decanting should be easy enough if the CO is slightly warmed.
  18. Want to buy a bulk 25 litre CO container from Crede Oils. Want tops 10 litres for myself. Are there enough people in Jhb area to take the remaining 15 litres?
  19. You could wrap tape around the spot where the clamp is. Or maybe cut up an old tube and line the inside of the clamp with a rubber strip.
  20. Htone, great to hear your thyroid levels aren't in the bin. Please share your numbers with us.
  21. That 200g limit: Is that with intense exercise? 200g...sounds like so much for LCHF!
  22. LMAO Topwine, stop with the ad hominems. You bring a balance to this thread with contrarian info, but most of your posts go over my head, and your patronising tone causes tension (and leads to your contributions being lost in any case). I have reintroduced minimal vegetable carbs to my diet following your and some others' post, but I maintain that strict LCHF was a godsend that changed my life for the better. Thanks to everyone sharing their info!
