Yip that's the one. Ok so is this a separate one to the normal status description graph screen?

Here is a direct link to the DC tools page where you can get all the apps and sites. http://www.dcrainmaker.com/tools Just shows that he also had the same problems ...

I can see thee status but on page 51 and again on 57 it refers to another screen with recovery status and then actual day and time when status' will be reached. Can you see that?

    Polar V800

Ok cool. Also have had all those and then some Currently have the RCX5 - Awesome watch and then just bought the V800. As per my earlier post this morning I currently use the same site to do the downloads or rather extracts from flow.polar.com. I actually prefer it the other way around exactly because of the reason you stated (machine crash) I back everything up locally. My problem is that I train off the grid (no connectivity) quite often and then want to download and analyse the data as I finish training. Not that big of a deal though. Main issue is that if another developer could do the site we are both using to download or extract the data from what Polar have, then why couldn't they? Just questions really and yes I know I will have to wait till December unfortunately (if they deliver). Must say that my RCX5 is an awesome unit and currently still better at tri-sports than the V800 just purely because of the current issues around swimming. The rest of the "issues" I have is more from a design perspective as I feel that they could have put a slightly bigger screen on etc. personal prefs though. Or things like, I want to see what my daily activity count consists of or even though the manual states that on the status menu there will also be a screen that gives you the times at which you 'should' be ready to train again my watch does not have that menu. Small things really that just makes the watch feel ... unfinished to me. I will most likely still get used to it and once they start fulfilling their promised software upgrades it will get better. At the moment though I am using it but not selling the RCX5 just yet Oh by the way for all you Vitality members ... since the Vitality excercise / Polar points are taken from polarpersonaltrainer.com and although Polar state that flow.polar.com will automatically update to polarpersonaltrainer.com (sure I read that somewhere) there is currently no way to get points from excercises logged on your V800. I have raised the issue with Vitality and will keep you updated on that as well.

    Polar V800

I did not actually know this before but yes in a way you are correct I read up about it but did not read the part about what's coming in the next few months (hopefully) although it was available on the website (albeit hidden in a huge amount of info). I will however take that one on the chin although I believe that Polar is big enough to develop both apps for release at the same time as the actual unit as we all know what the current trend around smart devices and sports are. Do you have a V800? Have you had a previous high end model Polar? Yes you can sync with flow.polar.com true. Then if I would like to download the actual files to my computer to keep or to upload to the likes of Strava or Endomondo or whatever sports tracking app you use? Looking forward to your reply.

    Polar V800

I've actually just stripped my proverbial "moer". How the hell can Polar be so blind for what is going on in the market. IOS 18% Market share Android 78% (May 2014) and I have to now wait for 6 months (if they deliver on time) to be able to utilise the Polar Flow app!! This watch is feeling more and more to me like a "lets get it out there and we'll fix it later" type of scenario. Let's see what Polar have to say about this....watch this space.

I've only used the one / website I mentioned in my post to export and then I manually import the tcx files into Strava and Endomondo.

http://flowexport.ca....pl/flowexport/ works well. Pity that Polar could not give a rat's to develop this type of thing to go with their flow web service. So far here are my comments on the V800, this might change as I use it more and Polar start delivering on promised software updates etc. But for now I'm not selling my RCX5 just yet. CONS: 1. Can’t pair with Android Flow app – only IOs 78% Android market share vs. 18% IOS 2. H7 strap isn’t working for me underwater, heart rate signal immediately gets cut as soon as I submerge. It eventually comes back after a while. 3. Small Screen - Bad utilisation of available real estate 4. No OWN INDEX test for heart rate zones 5. Can’t use multisport unless you decide beforehand 6. No export of exercise data from either the watch or Polar Flow for use with other services such as Endomondo, Strava etc. (partly solved by 3rd party apps) 7. Feels heavy on the arm in comparison to RCX5 (understand this is because GPS is integrated) PROS: 1. Integrated GPS. 2. Nice looking day to day watch 3. Metal body 4. Good battery power ... so far
  10. Jy al nie spyt wees nie!!
  11. Took the plunge....but not selling my RCX5 just yet....
  12. I've been wanting to start trail running for a while and have actually started last week. Same as with road cycling (road running) it bores me so had to opt for trail. What do you guys think? Anybody else doing both?
  13. More like gripsh!t if you ask me No seriously I am sure there are guys who swear by theirs but I have never had a feel for them. I definitely prefer my levers!
  14. You see it's when they break and get into the rear wheel that they start braking
  15. Totally agree! Have tried Both and now running XO on everything. You wont get much tougher than that and very easy to maintain. XX is slightly more prone to issues and costs a load more.
  16. I seem to have been mistaken ...... http://www.strava.com/clubs/velominati-1086

    Polar V800

Cool thanks!! I had the RS800CX before the RCX5 and must say I preferred having the software locally rather than the websync / website combination I have with the RCX5 now. In your experience, how good is battery life? I know that almost all manufacturers will definitely be over-confident in their claims on this one If you had to give it a score out of ten? And have you ever used anything else such as SUUNTO or Garmin?
