  1. Ok have spoken to someone at Racetec and this was my question and their response: ME: SASeeding informed me that they are waiting for the results for above mentioned race form you. Could you please advise on the status of this soonest. Racetec: There are currently negotiations regarding whether or not race information from our database will be given to them, however, an agreement has not been reached.
  2. @#@%!! That's ridiculous!!
  3. Cool cool, any idea on price? Just an arm or a leg too?
  4. Hi Guys Anybody know where I can buy a SRAM XLOC Full Sprint lockout? It's the one that locks both Revelation and Monarch at the same time. Any assistance would be appreciated.
  5. I've given up...
  6. Both bikes, shoes, helmet, glasses, Polar and Thule comprehensively insured. Yes it is expensive but I will still have to save for a #$%@ long time to be able to self insure!
  7. O cool, please keep us posted!! and thanks
  8. Any news on the pics?
  9. Also running 39/26 with 11/36 and very happy!
  10. Yes that's seems to be correct. However I am a mountain biker and like to spin at around 95 - 100 rpm. Doing so at 120 will firstly tire me out and secondly make me look like a chop!! I have gone for the 39/26 combo and already works quite well. But I can see that on flatter races I would just like to try the 42/28 combo just as a matter of interest ... .regardless of any calculations.
  11. The 45's big climb is quite rocky and if you are more than about 20 down the field you will walk here as most ppl do. The monster has a big climb (from where the name ) but this normally has quite a good surface.
  12. This 45 is not average, but also not mad. So if you have a reasonable level of fitness you should be fine. Just pace yourself.
  13. Exactly I mean they are the official timers of the event...
  14. I see the results are still not reflecting on SASeeding!
  15. Awesommmme, some crazy ideas!! And skills!!
  16. Thanks man I hope so
  17. Awesome bike so far has really improved my riding. But that also has a lot to do with my own training and also the obvious step up in wheel size has made a big difference for me. Took me to my first MTB podium last week
  18. Nope frame and two headsets and two sets of RD hangers. No Jeez I wish, that shock is a few grand on it's own
  19. Link please, for the love of me I cannot find it
  20. The price for the setup is in line with what most shops charge.
  21. Cool idea and really should not be that hard to build at all. You do really have to be running out of space in a serious way if you want to do that though...
  22. Anybody riding here now at 05:30 in the mornings?
  23. Problem for me is that it takes them ages to get results onto the site!!
  24. Use same combo on my 26" and it works a charm. On my 650 I use Crossmark on the back and Ardent on the front.
  25. Thanks guys for an awesome race. We were fortunate enough to be not too far behind the lead bike for most of the race and therefore only got lost once for a few minutes. Best way I have seen marking is with different colour dayglo paper stickers. One on the left means your on the right track and going in the right direction. Two on either side means a turn coming up to that side. Three on either side means caution. If you then see one on the right you know that you're going in the wrong direction, the rest is pretty easy. I have seen this used with great success in the very rural parts of the Eastern Cape with stage races such as the Lord of the Chainrings, never got lost once. The paper stickers are also biodegradable if anyone should be concerned about that. Apart from that nice route. Won't make the one on 10 May but will be there again soon. Keep up the good work and don't be discouraged by idiots commenting that they would never do the race again blah blah blah. I will bring two guys next time for every one of those "kitties"
