  5. Got my licence the week before the change so i am good but: You can use vitality as your club. Speak to local guys sure there are some clubs that are still relevant and allow to join for no fee. some benefits to the license if you race a lot but at Fast one they didnt even ask or for it and no one i know payed the 50 for the day one.
  6. Not sure how to post this without it being taken in the wrong vain. Think it is a great idea but perhaps better spent or focused on cyclist that might not have had the public profile? Is the money going towards Legal fees Non profit perhaps for families that might not have access to this?

  11. Emotions are running high. Being released is not a sign that he is not guilty. See below I think we should all take a step back and think before posting something that might be incorrect. Social media is awash with versions and stories not just on this incident but many others like it. Sharing videos, footage, pics etc is bad in any of these cases as it prevents proper prosecution. Also can not imaging what the family must be going through seeing all the message in your face all the time. On all the groups < i am sure we all belong to, Cycling related and other,> we are being bombarded with messages and theories. I think our time is better spent, supporting the family of this incident and other incidents like this and let the people that know what they are doing handle it. Speculation will only let our blood boil over. Were i stay we had a school kid knock over and it didnt even made the local news.
  12. HAHAHA. Setup tires and will power also depends on gearing
  13. Heat training. and the ability to suck it up and understand there is going to be ups and downs and the downs pass. Unless if it is a head wind. head winds dont pass. oh and a 12.1 avg speed to finish is harder than people realize.
  14. hahahahaha burn at the stake.
  15. i think for us locals it is easier than out of towners that do not know the roads this side.

  19. SO here are some replies i have received from people contacted What is sad you want to assist by perhaps buying a bicycle or sponsoring one and in the end it seems it might be easier to go buy one at a makro or such. From: World Bicycle relief Hi, and thank you for reaching out. We do not currently have any shops in South Africa. The closest shops would be in Zimbabwe. However, other organizations, such as Quebeka, do work in South Africa. Please let me know if we can help further. Ben Bikes CT Interesting they have a "utility bike: that i requested this is in theory similar to the Buffalo bike Good day Luigi, We have 2nd hand bicycles available from R650 upwards. They are not assembled, no returns and card payment only. You are welcome to visit our premises at Pedal power At the moment we don’t have any stock available.
