  1. And there were no other variables (line, technical ability blah blah blah) so it must have been the wheels
  2. The way I ride I don't take my phone with me on my bike
  3. Dude bar ends on riser bars will never be RIGHT! They look stoopid and people will point and laugh ..... get over it!
  4. I wonder if Sport Tracks will allo direct upload of Garmin 500 data in V3 which is to be released in August? I see V3 will have a paid for and free version with some limitations .....
  5. What model phone are you using it on? I only use mine on road bike rides, for MTB I have a choice between a 301, 305 or 500 Garmin ;-) ....
  6. I do the same but I do find it important to wait for Sports Tracker to 'see' the satellites before venturing off on my ride. Takes a little while on my E71 else I get some 'strange' readings at the start .....
  7. Very very nice!
  8. On the 'wielnaaf' there are no rules besides the one above
  9. Just 'having it' isn't enough to win, sometimes you gotta do a bit more than that especially as all the hub experts have noted that if he doesn't have a fair buffer on 'Berto before the TT he has no chance of winning .... Just saying, use it , don't use it ....
  10. Mine works no doubt, I haven't fallen off my bike since I got it ..... oh maybe I should mention I haven't been riding my bike so maybe that's why I haven't fallen off
  11. The 'guy' I gather was an 'adult' and made his own decision whether to wear a helmet or not ..... you know the old analogy '$10 head $10 helmet' I doubt there are rules for the lead bike at an MTB race.
  12. Sorry dude but this is the Hub it is normal to insult and burn first and in some cases under severe pressure to apologise later (very rare).
  13. Seems Scotty is working for a change so on his behalf:- GO LANCE
  14. http://www.garmin.co.za/notice.htm
  15. But it's surprising how many 'ubbers are
  16. Man dude this is not the way of the hub! But as per my previous 2 posts I do agree with this statement ......
  17. "Two weeks before the meeting one of the dealers on the list told me how they (the dealers) are going to get together and '**** up these guys that think they can just come in and start a bike shop and do what they like.'" Statements like this on a public forum I assume can be backed up by either a recording (I doubt that) or another attendee at said 'meeting' and that it is verbatim what was said - just asking ...... My understanding is that (as per my much earlier ignored post) some of the dealers on the list went to an 'industry meeting' without knowing what the 'agenda' was. Now purely by having attended (not agreed or acted upon) they have been found guilty, seems a bit unfair to me but ja like I said go for the jugular guys!
  18. I would give some of those on the list a chance as they have been implicated by association rather than having actively participated but ja as usual for the 'ubbers 'go for the jugular'!
  19. I thought the money was to phone 'a friend' or catch a taxi ....
  20. Size matters dude!
  21. Maybe carry a quicklink and a chain breaker ....... ;-)
  22. OK Gummi that was just 'trying to be clever' of me ;-) but I have noticed that more and more cyclists are taking up either 'normal' or 'trail' running. I think I read somewhere that running will help your cycling but cycling won't help your running or something like that ......... so it would make sense to have that as an option here!
