So I passed it on ..... first he mumbled about it being dark so he can't read then at the end of the ride he read it and mumbled some more about your comment regarding him 'not having ridden one' was true and he should maybe keep his big sarcastic mouth shut He's a good guy so I think the comment was made without too much thought but feels a bit doff now .... he'll get over it no worries B)

A good tip given to me by a mate a while ago when I was contemplating increasing my training:- 'You will never find time to do it you have to make time' So if you have to wake up at 4:30am weekdays and 5:30am on weekends to make sure you have time still for your 'other' responsibilities then so be it B)

Thanks y'all, decided it's to much trouble and even though I don't like it I'll stick with the 'old style' silver spokes.

I change between an 11-23 and an 11-25 and have had no problems with chain length.

Achtung all you ueber hubber expets! Is it possible to 'spray' the normal i.e. silver spokes black on a built wheel? Thinking to mask the rim and hub off then clean the spokes proper say with thinners and then spray with a can (maybe that tough engine spray type stuff?)..... On a training bike and it's those ALX wheels wif ve min spokes

I take great pleasure in travelling half in the emergency lane going North on the R59 in the morning just before the highway splits .... gets that mixture of drivers (not only taxis or black drivers but also the white ladies taking their kids to school that are late) quite hot under the collar but I don't mind
