  1. Why specify your sunglasses? They should be insured under your All Risks section!
  2. Question? Are you insured for new for old or what the original item cost less excess as is what is offered to you now.
  3. Hi Guys, I'm looking at getting either the Superfly 100 AL Elite http://www.trekbikes.com/za/en/bikes/mountain/cross_country/superfly_100/superfly_100_al_elite/# or AL Pro http://www.trekbikes.com/za/en/bikes/mountain/cross_country/superfly_100/superfly_100_al_pro# and would appreciate your thoughts and experiences, if any, of the bike. Good/bad or indifferent. Thanks
  4. I've used Evans a couple of times and never had a problem. You must realize that Royal mail is slow, very slow and your goods can take 30+ days to arrive.
  5. Trek 100 AL Pro. On special for R35,000. http://www.bike-advisor.com/category/bicycle-guides Or Superfly 100 AL Elite for R28,000 http://www.bike-advisor.com/category/bicycle-guides

    I have a pair-work like a charm.
  8. If your asking then we are all in trouble!
  9. My first thought were the Flow's because of the extra 4.5mm in width but it appears the extra weight is not worth it.
  10. Thanks guys. Appreciate the feedback.
  11. They are a great brand. Been riding a Cube 26 for the last 2 and a half years and haven't had any problems. Recently I had to replace one of the rear linkages for the rear shock (wear and tear) and the bike shop had it within three days from the agents.
  12. Less rim weight, more stuff to carry!
  13. 29er XC. Only weigh 74kg's.
  14. Hi Guys. Is the extra weight gain of 95g per rim/190g per set on the Flow compared to the Arch worth it to gain an extra 4.5mm in rim width? Thanks
  15. What the man says. Feels weird in the begining but improves traction.
  16. As mentioned, it took a while to get used to it and I agree with Slowbee, some magazine costs are a joke but nothing beats carrying 10 + magazines in your back pocket.
  17. Or how many of the back markers were tested. Choice of 1200 riders!
  18. Make sure you have a spare tube and know how to change it.The USN race is normaly quite popular with kids and families and has a great vibe and whatever you think I KNOW you will have fun. A couple of years ago the 10km ride was one of the first races my daughter did-12 at the time-and as you get to the finish you ride quite close to the dam which is quite bumpy. Well a couple of bumps later she found herself and her bike sitting in the dam in the middle of June. Man was she p*ssed off! When I spoke to the marshal who saw it happen later on, he said seeing the expession on her face was priceless and killed himself laughing.
  19. Cycle Lab Design Centre in Fourways have Saturday morning rides with marshalls for all levels. http://cyclelabclub.co.za/johannesburg-club/
