Plans are set... Fri - Bike Park Sat - Rietvlei Sun - Northerns Mon - Spruit! Have a wicked weekend of riding...

I'm in Jozi But planning to get as much riding done as possible... Groenies, Kings, Rietvlei... still working on plans!

Saw that bike at the Park last week.. looks pretty wicked in person!!

That doesn't help me! I'm still on the baby gap jumps!

I also saw that! Especially on Zombie just before a few of the gap jumps! Makes for an interesting run up

Its pretty safe WW! Saw a couple guys running there alone on Saturday! Although it makes no sense to me why you'd run if you have a bicycle

Heard that originally the first few teams in were asked to wear them, they said that if they were to be 'disadvantaged' with the weight then the same should go for the top 10 teams... Then they complained about the same thing... now it's filtered down to the Top 20!

You guys do have the best trails down there! Raced with 2 DH guys on the weekend and they reckon I'm in the wrong discipline Will use one of their bikes and go give some DH a try!

Not really! Bumped into one or two riders on route!

Love the trails at Kings! Tough, but a good 22km loop! There is no restaurant, you pay for your entrance at a little shop at the entrance!

Likewise, Sabie Classic 2012! Except I spent 7h45 in the saddle! Actually did go see a Dr after that race!

Started out on a 26" HT, rode and raced it for 2 years and loved it! I started doing the Marathons and felt I needed something more comfortable so went for a 26" carbon Dual suss! Would never go back to HT, but I think the HT really helped develop my technical ability! Agree that a 29er is not ideal for a smaller frame!

I believe Gnarly and BigBen will be there too! Enjoy it, I won't be competing in this one!
