    Hehe, get the reference now. True, that can happen. Can also happen with a GPS, cellphone (did someone say Samsung?!) or light. Anything with a battery I suppose. Motorbike is a bit different though. No need for it to explode for it to set a forest on fire. And trust me, they RIP up trails.

    They have been running around Jonkers long enough for that to have happened by now. I reckon the day it does happen it will be down to the chop riding it and not the bike. Chops be chops; can't blame gear for that.

    There is a big difference between e-bikes on trails and motorbikes. As a motorbiker I would love access to more dirt and single track, but - noisy as hell. There's NO way motorbikes will be able to ride some of the trails cyclists do just based on that - they actually, genuinely do rip up trails - it will cost a fortune in maintenance - fire risk - will not be able to share trails with cyclists, runners, horses, hikers, etc Not the same as an e-bike.

    I feel you! I would however recommend he checks future CSA sanctioned event's T's&C's as they fall under UCI rules and at the moment discs on road bikes are a no-go. I wouldn't blame the events, rather the industry that has been a bit arse about face with new tech and implementing them. Much like manufacturers selling MTB's to the masses that come std with wheels that have a 85kg weight limit. No sense made there.

    We've just ticked through midday here at the track, so let's have a summary of the morning so far: - Bottas leads the way with quick times set at the start of two long runs on soft tyres - Ferrari solid in second with Vettel lapping on mediums - McLaren and Red Bull stuck in the garage with technical problems - Magnussen's Haas breaks down at the pit entry

    Lap count so far today: Vettel 18, Bottas 16, Hulkenberg 10, Ricciardo 4, Magnussen 3, Ericsson 3, Perez 3, Massa 2, Sainz 2, Alonso 1. 90 minutes in, and only half the teams have set lap times: Ferrari, Mercedes, Williams, Renault and Red Bull.
