  9. Definitely only interpretation. Much like Tread's scale goes from XC-MARATHON-TRAIL-FREERIDE, labeling many a Trail and / or All Mountain bike as a "Freeride" bike. Not bashing Tread, just using their interpretation as an example. For reference:

  13. Cats vs Dogs according to Oatmeal. (I've made it a bit more Bike Hub friendly)
  14. True. Even more so on 29ers which suffer more from wheel deflection than any other wheel size.
  15. Some thoughts on your comments Not apples with apples Maybe try them both first I don't know anyone who uses different bikes on their trainer unless one is in for repairs. Can't see any use or benefit in swapping bikes out. TO ME it's a huge benfit to have 1) a quiet trainer and 2) not waste your tire away. So no need for an extra training wheel, cassette and tire which only add cost and get in the way when not in use. Factor those in and you're a lot closer to the KICKR's asking price. Don't know of any power meter that measures power on the tire or outside of the wheel. The KICKR's flywheel compensates for the rotating mass effect. I used other power meters on the trainer and as the review says I found the KICKR to be accurate and, more importantly (to me), consistent. Unless you're training for bragging rights I feel it's more important to have a baseline to work from and improve from there. Wasn't an issue on any of the devices used. No more than usual using my phone as my training GPS using Endomondo or Today's Plan. Just lock your phone's screen when using the RFLKT+.
  16. Beyond 2000 was a documentary TV Show that aired from 1985 to 1999 and featured technological innovations that were meant to improve our lives and be widely available to the mass market soon after the year 2000. Most inventions and ideas were outstanding and, for the time it was aired, quite out there. Flying cars, jetpacks as daily transport - next level stuff. Click here to view the article

  19. ...Honda will then also be a good fit
  20. Haas said early on "It would put us on the map one way or another," he said. "But I think Danica's career, she’s quite happy where she is at the moment. For her to make the move is a big risk; I don't she really wants to do it at this stage in her career." Guiterrez comes closest being Mexican. Rossi also an option hence his deal to drive the Marussia at some events till the end of the season. Gives Ferrari and Haas the opportunity to check him out and give him some experience.
  21. Yeah, that was it. For now only Grosjean, but Haas has said he will be partnered by a Ferrari reserve. JEV or Gutierrez - most rumors suggesting it will be the Mexican. Renault has signed a letter of intent with Lotus keeping them from going bust. Sad situation that. I think JEV will go to Renault. Prost will be the brand ambassador there and he (apparently) is a JEV fan. Both of them being French and all. Then it's only Marussia that need to sort drivers and I think what happens there is dependent on their engine deal. Talking about engines: one fine mess RBR got themselves into and then handling it like chops. Can't imagine why ANYONE would actually want to supply them.
  22. Grosjean confirmed at Haas
  23. Thanks! BTW, popped in at Yamaha PE this afternoon to say howzit only to find out from Eugene you don't work there! Will join you guys for an out ride some time
