  2. A lot of the guys who sell / stock are keeping a tap kit and installing for purchasers. Like Myles said Stoke are carrying / fitting and if you check Waynes Ride Rate Review episode from last week when they installed one with Brenton. Top peak do a nice range and have added some new stuff then there is Syncros and Swat is obviously aimed at Spez riders. There was a guy selling a set tools that would fit into the bar ends as well that I was thinking about.
  3. This is the one! http://www.kingcage.com/products/mud-flask.jpg
  4. can't find anything up your way but Bike Addict stock them. https://bike-addict.co.za/collections/bottle-cages Is it for road or MTB? If it's MTB then the One-Up EDC is cheaper and awesome. https://trailtechcycles.co.za/product/edc-tool-system/
  5. On one is back with their super special on the Dee Dar steel trail hardtail for a steal at £144 https://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/FROODD27/on-one-deedar-275-steel-hardtail-frame 140mm - 160mm with a 65.5 head angle. Same price for the inbred 29'r and the 45650b.
  6. Safe to say that Marin isn't going to feature in the top 5 after the first dirty dozen review!
  7. Looked so sick! Seeing some of the footage half the time there doesn't even seem to be a route. Just like someone came and dumped a load of rocks on a hill!
  8. Looking nice. Will have to check it out. Not 100% on the colour options but I'm liking the convertible vibe alot!
  9. Sob... sniff... very sad face. Anyway as a guide, I'm 5'9" and I felt the M was a little cramped but I was swapping between that and a very long, slack 29'r dual sus' but felt like I needed another 10mm for me to be super dialled. If I'd kept it I'd have popped on a 60mm stem which would have done the job. I'm planning on getting another one when I'm OS again and might pickup the large this time looking at the geo and the reach for both and having had the M. Odd thing was the guy I spoke to from On One said I would be between a S and a M. Go figure.
  10. A little bit of quite nice...
  11. Wahhooooooo! This makes me want to ride do skids!
  12. The video for the launch of the DB is pretty darn awesome as well.
  13. Seen this? Might be your thing. DH's are a buyers market. https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/268734-giant-glory-0/
  14. Front or rear or both? Haven't seen the tread in the flesh.
  15. Thanks, my Giant game is very lacking. Still a nice tight deal!
  16. Wow... that is a nice deal. Is that the plastic on as well?
  17. What are your thoughts of these Vs the Huck Norris ones?
  18. Did I post this already? Have I been looking at this a bit too much lately... Yes. Hell yes.
  19. What are you guys doing with the blue one that is just gathering dust there also... Might see if I can fit in that Silver one as I'd love to see how it goes against my smuggler.
  20. Can't believe I screwed up the dates. I thought it was next weekend and I had heaps of time to enter. Utterly gutted... I'd even given my red a few upgrades for this and was looking to test ride tomorrow in anticipation. Ugh. Only another 12 month to wait then.
  21. After flirting with it for the last few months I've gone #FullFannyPack thanks to a CRC's big sale. Had got the inov8 one to see what the fuss was about and for R250 with bottle it's was great for quick 2hr sessions and carries fair bit of stuff but with summer coming I wanted more liquid (this has a 1.5l reservoir) and you can strap your pads to the outside for the long climbs. I'll get in first. Yup, now you'll see a Fanny on a tranny. Tried to find a half decent picture but there aren't any. It's a very uncool looking bit of kit but it works.
  22. I know you're a very loyal and faithful owner... but it's alway good to throw some temptation out there to test you!
  23. How does that Prime ride on a day to day? I'm really keen to know more about it and if it's a good match for all our kinds of trails or is it more a super solid, enduro monster truck, Evil The Wreckoning type thing. I get the Phantom is the go to short travel 'trail' 29'r and the spitty is the more smaller wheeled trail, am do most things slayer. Just trying to get where it fits in to our landscape and it's ride / handling style.
  24. See that is why you need some Tranny love. Every time I go into the man cave and see my tranny sitting there you have to ask yourself if it's wrong to look so right and I have an urge unchain it and take it out for a good thrashing.
