  1. To much excite... Frame, bike, whatever gets released next week and A-Line have pricing and soon to be stock but can't tell anyone until the global launch kicks in. Arrrggghhhhh.......
  2. I can't help it... I keep coming back to this. Hurry up and launch already so I know I can't afford it.
  3. This colour will match my grips and my saddle nicely Mr Santa...
  4. Like the brown and black one alot.... wonder what they will cost landed here.
  5. Humm.... might need to swing past there this week. Was looking at a carbon Tracer 2 the other day that someone was selling and trying my best to ignore it.
  6. That looks sick.
  7. You've poked me... £400 that's a crazy bargain! Must not. Must not.
  8. I highly doubt that. Built maybe but not made. My Dee Dar wasn't. On-one and Planet X are masters of the oversea sourcing and asia builds, most of their Steel numbers and carbon are made overseas in Taiwan. That coding is a great price there though @ 50% off it's a bargain for sure but you can also pick up the likes of 2016 Banshee Prime for £500 at the moment on sale so it's not really a good comparison against a full priced frame.
  9. I didn't think it was too bad (£1760) considering some of the prices of other alu frames about at the moment. EG: Commencal Meta 4.2 £1499, Transition Smuggler: £1599 Kona Process 153DL £1480 Nukeproof Mega: £1599 GT Sanction Team £1599 I'd guess most of those are built in the east as well. Single pivot? Still works pretty good and with up to date geo looks like a riot. Orange do have a loyal following for a reason, there is some thing about them. I've owned a Orange Five and loved that bike more than any I've had. What's a PYGA 140 frame going for these day in the UK? £1715... or you can just buy a full bike Jeffsy with a Pike etc from the YT UK outlet for £1699.
  10. Yeah... I've shipped frames with Aramex a couple of times and it works out to be about R1100 then taxes. BA have gone and screwed up the annual friends and family visit with their £65 per extra bag, overweight, extra sports good scenario. Need to convince them Ethiopian air is the way to go as they give sporting goods as an extra, free allowance.
  11. What happened??
  12. So damn nice!
  13. spin it like a yummy mummy at Virgin Active!
  14. I'm keeping it. Got more to add having seen that build.
  15. Obviously just to wash it.
  16. You ride in the wet? Wow.
  17. Ouch, know that pain. We've already claimed for the wedding ring / engagement ring combo and for a previous watch! He'd better become an international jewel thief out of all this training.
  18. You don't know my children! The 2 year old is in the dog box as he's hidden my phone some where... probably with the DSTV card and my wifes Longines watch that went missing about 2 months ago. Can't find it anywhere and battery has run out. So currently in that department I have a favourite especially as I have clients trying to get hold of me and I'm trying to sort a sim swap and resurrect a back up phone. Ugg.
  19. The vorprung and the ramp control are for the pike so it doesn't feel left out!
  20. I'm a proper tw*t... I honestly put a stop on buying ANY THING else after the Curas because the next purchase could have been by the hour from Mr Divorce Lawyer. But then my brother decides to come and see me later this month, a client finally pays some UK bills that I'd pretty much written off 8 months ago and I happen to end up on Ebay and pink bike late last night after studiously ignoring the bargain Easton Carbon Riser Bars on CRC. So, really, honestly and pinky swear, this is the last you'll see of me around this thread in a while. I might just have a problem. If anyone sees me anywhere near a bike shop in the next year tackle me to the ground and drag me out screaming.
  21. I"ve got those KS 661's as well and have had a couple of 'newer' tech ones but keep coming back the Kyles. They are a brilliant pad and just refuse to die (or stink!).
  22. Didn't know that. Thanks for the knowledge. Re: Curas. I've had a couple of sessions on them now, have sorted the set up a bit better and am very impressed. Great brakes with a ton of stopping power and luckily a great modulation to save you from the down side of that bucket load of stopping force!
  23. Yeah... I had that once. Lasted about 2 weeks before I started to stray and about 3 weeks before I'd found an excuse to start a new build. Pls report back on the ribbon. Keen to Hear how it goes and compares to the stage.
  24. That is some collection of 'bits and pieces'. Half of that is my wish list! Looks awesome, enjoy!
  25. That's looking like it's going to be sweeeeeet! How's the little fin on the helmet... you're going to be the 'the shark of the cape'! The Rev' is a great choice for that frame as well.
