  8. - Ask them for their references. - How much do they charge you? - Will he be available anytime or not? - Tell them what is your goal? Try see bikemax website www.bikemaxpower.com
  9. It is not worth it to call the police because most of them are criminals. The police are useless because they just write down the paper and next day the paper disappears and the guy will be freed because the jail is overcrowded. Bla! bla! The quickest to call the police, just say I shot the criminal. I will rather moer him and throw him on the pavements.

  11. Chamois cream.......
  12. I think it will be better if they get same prize money, so that it will encourage more woman to race more like men....
  13. It looks like Cannondale is copying Trek... I don't like curve on Ridney... Time is far too expensive especially for South Africans...
  14. Where is photos of vets? I would like to see sprints at the end.
  15. It is interesting! In two years ago we can buy top of range bicycles for R25000, but now they are over R40000. I think it is mad! I realised that lots of us rather stay with their bikes than buy new one.
  16. I understand that there was a problem with licences, but I wonder why don't we enter for licences in between October and November, so that we can have card in time for new year. If they apply late, pay extra fine to avoid problems.
  17. I always lock the fork when I want to climb fast and hard. You cannot stand if you don't lock the fork, otherwise you will be bouncing.
  18. Yes while we are all moaning at each other. Even if he attacked i presume you did nothing but followed him and sucked his wheel? I only make this comment as Day 3 of the TDB you did nothing but this for at least 100km you seemed to have mastered the art of give a dead wheel when forced to work in the front. On the other hand i know it was a tough day for all of us but the stangest thing was in the last 500m you insisted to work infront to get a better placing. Cool, I got dropped in last 500m because I dehydrated badly on Day 2. I could not push harder or work and I I just want to finish TDB.
  19. Why did you use carbon wheels in strong winds (Argus) Maybe you must stop moaning, just concentrate a bit more. I remember you last year at Burger ride, You started to attack over white line and the car came past us. It just miss you and I thought you were a bit mad. You need to be calm. Don't give up and you will only learn when things goes wrong.
  20. There was one problem with Boland Tour is that every team can only have one secondary car. So the secondary car follows the leader of the team, but when few guys dropped and those guys like me suffered with no water. It was so hot. I feel we need few guys on motorbike follow each bunch with few bottles of water like TDF. I gave up in the last stage because I can't ride in last 5okm without water.
  21. Oh sorry! There was a guy who looked like you, used to lecture me. It will be sad if there is no Giro, but why can't they combine Boland tour and Giro, so that we can have seperate bunch (Pros with Juniors) and (Veterans and league riders)
  22. I used to ride alot up to Neck from Hout Bay. I know it is very narrow and when the truck or bus come behind you, try cycle in the middle of the road to stop them from overtaking you. It worked for me, but I have to cycle fast. I wonder if it is Mega bus or Atlas bus. Check with them.
  23. I can't believe that Groot Lem used to be my lecture teaching me how to do surveying at Cape Technikon. He used to cycle to Cape Technikon everyday. I admire him for doing hard work at Boland Tour with such little budgets. I really enjoyed the tour, but it was hard. Thank you Groot Lem
  24. My number is 30 riding for Cyclelab
