Hi guys
What are your thoughts on doing a full 3M Vinyl wrap of a new MTB? Does it last and is it worth it? Lastly any companies or persons in Bellville/Durbanville area that does it?
Thanks
Pathetic
The bike can handle it. I had a 36T on my previous Epic after switching to 1x12 but this was with GX. If I buy a new bike I expect it to atleast come with the gear ratio of my choice. They basically just swop it out and keep the smaller chainring in stock again.
Thanks guys. Yes spot on Knersboy. Seriously disgusted that Spez would then go and put SlX on a R80k bike. If it was still 1x11 no problem. But 1x12 they surely had to consider that there are people capable of using the 36T upfront. This allows for greater range of the cassette in my case.
Hi guys. Looking to buy the 2021 Epic Comp spez. Prob is this bike comes fitted with SLX drive train 1x12. Now I can only go up to a 34T upfront. This is a massive waste as it has 51T cog at back. Will never get to use this. Use to ride a 34T upfront on Sram 1x11 with 10x42 cassette. Any advise what to do now? Can I let them fit a 36T Xt chainring or would it require to upgrade the crankset to XT also?
drop the front derailleur!
Weather predictions not looking great at this moment. Looks like it might be a mud fest or tri-athlons instead if that much rain falls as predicted...
Trailtag is pathetic. Still zero results out
I have the Silverback Storm 2013 model also. Completed the Wine 2 Whales with it no issues. I have a 2.1 Maxis Crossmark on the rear. It does leave small marks on both sides of the frame. Recon it wont cause any problems. My team mate has the exact same bike which has done about 4000km to date easy with no issues. Also rubs a bit on frame on up stays. U can get the m now for R26000 at Cycle lab!! Best value for a good looking bike. Really a excellent ride. And good back up from local agent in Cape Town.
Just came back from the Ride event. Conditions were very very good. Few mud patches, bike only required a wash and lube on all 3 days. The Race guys should have the exact same conditions. Was my very first stage race and had a blast. Will return again and again. The food and atmosphere was top class.

Hi guys.
Is there anyone living in Bellville/Durbanville area that can help me out with a Avid juicy disc brake bleeding kit for a few hours.
Need it to do my wifes mtb bike I just bought for her. Not spending R100's of rands now to have a bike shop do it.
Thanks

Check that your radiator is not leaking.... Not taking the piss out of you - hope you get the problem soon :-)
I am a firm believer that one should keep your sperm inside before a race - from experience... Like Samson loosing his power after his hair was cut
Sterkte met die nuwe shop Jaco. Sal definitief n draai kom maak.

This topic is useless without pics! :-)
weather is very good. No rain forecasted for the day or before. Has not rain for over a week. Track should be very good I think!!
I agree! GOing to order some more within the week. Maybe this parcel sneeks through...
Went riding at Meerendal yesterday afternoon with my new kit and the shamy works very well.
I hear you. But I expected less from the quality. Doubt that a 8 year old can make clothes this good.
I will try to win some races for them. Go cycling jersey!
This hobby should come with a Warning label

reading all the comments made my day! I fly rc Jets and just bought an expensive mtb - so I'm in double trouble. Every good hobby has the exact same problems I think. Only 2 types of Hubbers, those whom acknowledge their addiction and those who are in denial.
