Went for a ride on Monday afternoon. Mid-ride, stopped for something to eat and stopped recording (on an Edge 500). 40 minutes later, hopped back on the back and started recording again: the atmospheric pressure drop during the 40 minutes was more than the drop of a 100m climb.

Should we start shouting "fore!!" instead of "TRACK!" ?

i laaik it, think it's innovative, and not something that's commonly found. Sure a lot of people starting off will enjoy the ride. Though, if you're on your ass instead of up on your feet on a bumpy descent, you're gonna end up in trouble either way. (i'll stick to my uncushioned hard tail)

MapMyRide - I've created routes via web browser (on pc), but have not been able to load them on the mobile app. Yet to try recording a ride and then re-riding it. Best bet is Garmin 800 / 810. Strava / Endomondo doesn't offer nav, and the 500 allows you to re-ride courses, as rouxtjie said, it's not the best.

ya, they had a stuff up with the organizers last year, who bailed at the last minute. They have some italian restaurant on board this year, if i remember correctly, it is Piza e Vino.

Give it a week or 3.
