  1. The only time that I have ever contacted admin was to ask them to reduce my ban. There was a time when this place was a free for all. It was fun but also wrong. I did contact certain people to apologise for my behavior. Others, I didn't but that is just because I didn't like them then and I still dont. But at least I know that the feelings were and are mutual.

  11. I really want to watch it. But I am so scared that I might cry.Men are not allowed to cry here in the Free State. If you get caught crying by the cry police, they kick you out of the Free State and they make you go live in Cape Town
  12. Thats why I smaak it here Swiss. The only negative is that you dont have long downhills to settle down on and relax, eat, drink etc. The power is always on. But if you want to hear me cry take me to the mountains. Beautiful to look at, crap to ride. IMO
  13. Got a lift to Kimberley. Rode back to Bloem on MTB on gravel roads. Sorry, no pics of the ride. Eyes were full of dust. It is hectic dry in the Free State and Northern Cape.
  14. I trained under the mentorship of Johan 'Velle' Potgieter many years ago. The man was and still is a multiple Rapport tour rider. Back in the day when racing was hard and merciless. Velle would train you under two conditions. 1) Your free hub must be silent. 2) Your bottle may not be made of clear plastic. According to Velle, a wise cyclist will listen to your hub when the hammer is down and determine if you are skipping pedal strokes and thus fading and plan his strategy accordingly during the race. And what is happening in your bottle is your business and your business alone. Dont let them see how much you are drinking. Never throw your cards on the table. Today I love the sound of a freehub that sounds like deep sea fishing real when a sailfish hits your lure.

  23. Well is all started well! 3 Mungrels on a mission to do a 180 km ride. The first 113 km went like a dream. But on our way to phase 2 of the ride. Feeling fantastic, I got hit by a coward in a car. He, like cowards do, decided to flee the scene. Thanks to the heroic efforts of the SAPD and local security companies, he was apprehended 8km from the scene after a witness to the accident took the quick action to report his registration number on a whatsapp group. I dont remember much as I was knocked out cold. I scan has shown that there is no brain damage. But that is because they discovered during the scan that, as everyone expected, I dont have a brain. The coward has registered a case against me for damages to his vehicle. Claiming that I rode into him. Witnesses will prove this to be a blatant lie of a person not willing to own his shite. While many people were looking for the vehicle for which I am eternally thankful, kudos to the Officer from Afri Forum security patrols who spotted the vehicle and ensured that the coward was escorted to the nearest SAPD station.
