  1. Well they do have 10 for sale. So based on supply and demand that's probably why a 26inch is that cheap... Surely?
  2. To feast on the entrails of reason. [Further content available to Premium Hub Members only ©(p) 2011]
  3. Complimenting a mod is like sucking up to your favourite teacher. If you are lucky she may take you under her wing, but you know later there will be a visit to the school with your parents.
  4. If Slowbee posted pics of what he probably sees most days of the week, well, if his practice is like my friend's anyway, we would all be saying 'Close the thread'. So let's not bait him or his hand up a cow's bum will await us all.
  5. Don't get confused between a Camel's Back and an Energy-bra.
  6. Self moderation only works as Myles always says, if you 'Don't be a flesh post.'
  7. Just use bacon then?
  8. They are big boned, dude. (And I only have half, maybe, on a good day.. They tend to disappear at an alarming rate in the communal trough)
  9. I am not sure if I am a proper SA oke. I rock up wherever with 2kg of ribs, insist on standing about to make sure they are done for as short a time as possible to be just so, and then make sure I am near the serving tables to ensure I can fork anyone who steals too many. A bit of tater salad and I'm happy. And the only time for lettuce is if someone says 'Lettuce say grace...'
  10. #confused# is to 'knob' her to 'bonk' her backwards?
  11. Commando Tots. (Not all day... Earlier I was Blue Whispers)
  12. Think you missed how he had his little girl doing a braai with an ice box outside their spot.
  13. Having done the 42km and 60km each more than 3 times, and having a painful problem on Friday, I decided to do the 50km and take it reasonably easy. Had 700m of climbing and one climb was heading towards 20%. Would recommend it to those who found the 42km tough who want a pleasant but reasonably fast day out. Only a few pieces of ST including a pleasant enough switchback climb and a nice bit next to the river.
  14. All you have to is push through to the front of your chute, all the while pretending to be blind and deaf so that everyone thinks you need the help of starting first. Be the solution, not the problem!
  15. That's like asking if taking the bus qualifies you as a coach?
  16. Did the 50km for a bit of fun. What stood out as interesting is that after joining the short route, little kids riding on their own seem to know what is going on around them and are really cute. Actually, little kids riding with their parents are also cute and generally observant. But the parents and older folk... Totally oblivious.
  17. Absolutely, saw the first ever wildebeest there today. Not sure if they are purposefully introducing new species but the zebra and Elland are breeding nicely and the springbok seem to be happy too.
  18. Dude, podiums are only for people who don't have Straaaaava! So don't get your hopes up... ????
  19. Perhaps we need to adopt a roadie approach... If everyone shouts 'lazy bastard' when one whizzes by, you can make plans to move over and avoid incident? © Buttox Industries, 2017
  20. Aaaah, in which case probably steer clear
  21. If you enjoyed the job Fincher did on Seven and Fight Club, give it a go.
  22. The David Fincher one is awesome. Have the three Swedish versions and found them a bit... slow
  23. Faf may be Bling's twin but his captaincy made a massive difference. It has been years since we have had such a definitive display of leadership in this team. AB might have done some incredible personal displays but his leadership is a bit dull and formulaic.
  24. From your finger pads to God's touchy-feely bits... Perhaps 'Kickstarter' will find value?
