Yup.... rehabiltating roads is quite an art. You have to turn a sows ear into a silk purse!!!!!! Just doing a condition survey to determine the status of an existing pavement is quite an art and one of my specialities. It is one of those things that come with years of experience. I RSA they need people like me........ but I will NOT ride Ben Schoeman every day to do that!!!!!!!

No I have never done that. Roads are my forte and I have been with Consulting Engineers all my life. Thanx!!!!!!!!

I am in Civil Engineering - Roads. I specialise in Road Rehabilitation and also has extensive experience in Overhead Supervision and Contract Documentation. I worked on a contract basis for leading Consultants for the past two and a half years on projects in Mozambique and Nigeria...... Nigeria is not working out. With little or no work because the Contractor is not performing, I am now frustrated and cannot go on sitting here doing nothing. It is not in my temprament to work like this.

Lagos is not working out. Various problems but the most important is that we cannot cycle properly here!!!!!!!!! M and I decided not to come back after our home visit for my Son's wedding at the end of August. I will resign tomorrow. I do not have employment yet but various may be on the cards. I trust we will be OK as the industry is booming. I still want to work Africa but R of SA will also do. The project is not progressing and the Contractor is not up to scratch. Internal sqaubbling and politics also becoming a bore. After a lot of thought we decided on this drastic action. M and my self are verrrrry verrrry excited!!!!!!!!

I got so caught up at the finshed and ended up with my HR @98% of max!!!!!!! Difficult screaming at Robert while your lungs ..................... and heart is lying on the floor!!!!!!
