  15. have a 2nd hand GT Peace with EBB. Got a fair variety of rear cogs with the sale but looking for some options up front. Does anybody in SA sell single speed chain rings - advice would be welcome?

  17. I never declared mine but I also specifically bought a relatively cheap bike so that if there were/are customs problems I could abandon it with little financial loss.

  21. Rode both while looking for a 29er. To be fair though neither of the rides was on any seriously challenging or technical tracks. Personally preferred the Giant although I don't like flat bars and did not think much of the brakes. Felt light and very responsive. You certainly don't get the impression that either bike is heavy while riding, in fact I think they weigh significantly less than my 26" dually.
