  1. No camelback - stuff it all in my baggie pockets. All being a couple of bombs, adaptor, plugs, plug tool and multi tool
  2. Where can we get these? I have a MJ880? (the 2000 lumen light) and the battery has also died and would love to get a properly made one instead of just buying the same battery (which are available).
  3. Am I stupid because I don't find any results for this Sunday on the link?
  4. Maglite - doubles as a moering tool
  5. The purple croc's have got me pissing myself
  6. I have a seatpost stuck in my steel frame - would the coke work here as well?
  7. Let me piggy back on this as well!! Ordered the Sunday evening late and got by Tuesday morning despite having made a mess of the shipping instruction. Hannes knew I needed the light urgently so shipped it overnight and sorted the payment out afterwards - great, great service. Now for the light - got myself the "big daddy" Pyro 2000 (MJ 880). What a pleasure! I ride in the dark every night and the light works like a dream - great throw and a really wide beam that covers the whole road so I can see when the rabbits are going to run in front of me! It is so bright that I have, until now, not had to use anything other than the 2nd/3rd setting.
  8. First two Ironman triathlons were held in Gordon's Bay - no incidents as far as I can remember and nothing looks more like a seal than a swimmer in a wetsuit
  9. Sorry crap grammar - I am alone
  10. Can we still join ............. or is it too late? If yes, could someone confirm start (06:00) and place (Hazeldean - park on the right) Thanks
  11. If I was a pro rider, but say only 3rd best, I would get some buddies together and just say we saw No 1 an 2 taking EPO. Bada boom I'm Number 1 (unless of course someone else susses that move out and does the same to me)
  12. Sorry.......they do make a sliding dropout though (if that vindicates me at all)?

  15. 13:05:26 BST We're hearing that four riders, including Hunter and Rollin have been kicked off the race for holding onto cars.

  17. Also have had mine for 8 months or so. 95kg's and running on a rigid, single speed with Hope hubs. No problems and pretty bullet proof in my opinion.
  18. Not sure if it was actually E-man who posted that as it was a comment on the blog? Either way, the answer and accusations smack of typical bureaucracy, a real "I'm the boss, grovel you bastard" type of attitude. On top of that, if he was going to put that out in public perhaps he should have gone to the trouble of checking the spelling and grammar
  19. I am in that weight class and went with ZTR Arch. No problems thus far
  20. +1 on that. Bought my wife a Bryton - has never worked properly (cadence & heart rate) and Bryton........quite frankly don't give a crap
  21. "Different strokes for different folks" I always breathed on every second stroke in open water swims and every third of those breathed forward (if that makes sense) to gauge my line. Worked for me but everyone I swam with then had there on way of doing it
  22. Surely you mean half Ironman swim in 30min
  23. Due South sell their own brand of looser type tops that I really like. You can sometimes find Endura kit as well at some shops - good quality +1 on the Indola - two pairs of shorts for 3 plus years and going strong
