Morning all I have looked for info regarding the Kalahari Challenge but can not find what I am looking for . I need the opinion of the riders that have done this race before, i.e. how challenging is this race compared to Wine to Whales , and other multi stage events ,what is the required fittnes levels ? I require this info as our Management team plans on doing the race ,all of us are typical "week-end warriors" so we are able to complete most of the one day MTB races in average time . Your 2c will be greatly apreciated .tx

Morning All I am doing a race every week end from this week end (Fast One ) intill 18 February (Optimum Berge en Dale Classic) I noted from cycle lab ,there are no races in the Gauteng area for the following two week-ends leading up to Argus on the 11th of March.Are there really no races in Gauteng area on the week end's of 26 February and 4 March ???? Dewald ,Dangle and the rest of you ,good afternoon .The misses has taken too editing her Sisters(who is a Photographer) Photographs on daily basis . She is now asking for a stronger computer (apple Mac nogal ) as they recon it is the best Computer to do editing with WT.......!!? The computer cost close to 20 grand ,does this sound right ? what computer do you guys use and which software ? She uses Photo shop as well as "Paint the moon actions/software" your comments please ? tx Charl God Bless

From a previuos IDT thread you will note that a lot of the hubbers use their carbon bikes on a IDT with no report of breaking any of them as far as I can recall. As for the rollers I am going to whatch the replies on your qustion cause I also dont know ,what I do KNOW is , do not spend too much on the friggin thing cause it is insanely boring doing an hour on a IDT!!!!

+1.5 awsome whatching the last 50 odd Km's at some stage thought the five man breakaway could make it to the end ,but were caught at 3.7km from the finish ,good stuff all around !!!
