V Not saying some of the ouws on the HUB are not cheap ,but I have only had real good help and "Joburg beating Prices" at Cycle Zone in Rustenburg ,not to far from you . I have bought 2 road bikes and 4 MtB's mostly Merida from Fereed , cheaper then most in JHB and PTA Speak to Fereed he is a gentleman and Nick gives you Technical avice tx Charl God Bless
Got the same problem on my Merida MATTS 80 2010 model ,I was under the impression its just the way the bike is built ,cant hear any scratiching break pads etc.....
Have to agree ,they are obviously getting info from the public cause they have improved the programme ,On that note I'd like to see them also show more of the plebs like us normal ouws competing out in the field . Looking at the coverage of races , one would easally get the impression that most of these races are only attended by a small number of pro athletes ,which is obviuosly not the case.

Honest question : I see no mention of the normal "run of the mill" names such as Merida , Raleigh ,Specialized etc. As a Noob I have never heard of these "spaghetti and borchelli "names , so why are the Famous Name brands not mentioned in ths conversation ?Are they really that bad ?And if so why ? ?
