  4. On the couch Hubber style. Love it!
  5. Will be riding in A, no worries about that. Just the reassurance that I'm entered and everything is A okay. Pun intended.
  6. Still waiting for my mail.
  7. Anyone still waiting for their emails?
  8. Hmmm. Still haven't received an email on batch ect. But have atleast got a receipt from Eventry saying I'm successfully entered for the race.
  9. I went from a 28-40 ; 11-36 ( Finding the top end burning me wishing for that little bit of a lighter gear). As an experiment I installed a 24 blade, running a 24-40 currently (Not recommended by manufacturer) and am as happy as can be. This setup is on a 2012 XT groupset.
  10. Thanks your your links and peecheers! That solves my problem.
  11. As far as I understand having a higher pressure in the neg. chamber is not recommended by SRAM ?
  12. The problem with 100mm travel is that the head angle is not ideal for my setup on the bike considering an efficient fork setup. I need that little bit more leaning forward on the bike for my handling to be spot on. The reason for asking this is that I was riding my fork quite soft and got used to about 30-40% sag, and by doing this I used quite allot of travel by using these low pressures on normal rides. By reading up on how to get that little bit more speed out of your bike a harder pumped fork is one of the answers. So the reasoning is that I would want a more efficient fork setup, thus riding the fork a bit harder but at the same head angle as it is currently setup at without using softer pressures in my fork.
  13. Good day Hubbers, Any tech guru's out there that's willing to help me on this one. I know it has something to do with installing a spacer( which I have) and that a basic service of the fork is also a good idea whilst doing that. I would like to do a DIY. Already got all the tech documents with specs on oils etc. but can't find anything on how to convert the fork( ie. instructions and videos). It's a 2012 Reba RLT fork. Thanks for your help in advance. Regards, Dub
  14. LOL. If thats the case, the front wheel failed terribly on me and it needed to be rebuilt with a new rim. It's holding up now...

  16. Couple of differences that changes the feel of the ride. Tapered head tube for a stiffer front end which makes handling better. Hydro-formed tubes that looks awesome, is allot more stiff around the BB and 80 grams lighter than old Large frame. And the ride is a little bit softer than before on the arse. But the best advantage over its older brother is an awesome paint job that doesn't scratch when you only look at it before a ride. I got a buyer for my frame and actually wanted a 2012 model to start with building the bike last year August, so thats why I upgraded. Seriously awesome frame, enjoying every moment more and more.
  17. Thats what I'm changing too. Have 28-40 at the moment and am missing that little bit lighter gear on the low end. I'd rather shift up two gears using the top end more and don't use my granny that much but at least have the option of having something a little bit lighter when the angles ask for it rather than being limited to something that's just that little bit too hard for comfort. Especially on races like Sabie and 3 Towers.
  18. Finishline Extreme Condition / Cross Country Wet Lube for Road Bike. And Rock & Roll Extreme ( Blue stuff) for MTB. Got a beeg bottle for R180 and has been lasting me more than a year with still one topup left in smaller bottle you get with the box.
  19. Had a older model EMD 9 and now have the 2012 EMD 9 Large, bike setup changed allot since I started riding the Niners. Weight is 10.72.KG
