  1. 545 matches for 7 teams. 6 finals. 0 goals. 0 assists. 0 wins. In fact, more yellow cards in finals than shots on target. 78 attempts at a trophy in all competitions. 0 trophies. By now I imagine we all know who this perennially overrated loser is... I never understood all the hype.
  2. Dumfries didn't challenge Kane, he wasn't going for Kane and didn't even attempt a tackle. Wasn't close to Kane before Kane advanced and kicked Dumfries. Dumfries was trying to block the ball. As soon as I thought that two commentators said the same thing. Hilarious how Harry's histrionics made it seem that his foot had been blown off, only to get up without the slightest hint of discomfort or a limp. Neymar would have been proud to get away with it. Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane expressed astonishment, all three calling it a disgraceful decision.
  3. About the penalty decision: 75% of the ITV halftime ex-player pundits used the term "disgraceful decision", including two from England. In-match commentators on both the streams I flipped between shared the sentiment, using terms like "bizarre" and "I can't believe it". There were a few more dodgy decisions that made it seem even more suspect, including in the lead-up to England's second goal. Turns out that ref Zwayer in fact has a criminal conviction for matchfixing. There have been more very controversial issues. After one match England's own Jude Bellingham said this about ref Zwayer: "You give a referee that has match fixed before the biggest game in Germany, what do you expect?"
  4. Yessir. Not letting go of the sleek GTV that I've had for 23 years anytime soon, primarily because of the awesome 6 cylinder Busso engine. I know two guys in my city who both bought their own Busso-engined GTV's back within a year after selling them. They're that good.
  5. This was first done as far back as 2010 with a polymer spray product, that can be combined with both synthetic and natural fibres, called Fabrican (edit: ...that feels somewhat like felt). I only know 'cos this same product was used a few years ago on my then-GF at a friend's SA Fashion Week show. It lasted at least several hours that evening.
  6. oNLy 91 more felony criminal charges to go...

  8. Thank goodness that it's so if it's a bit easier to accuse someone of grooming or sexual assault. The fact remains that less than 4% of formal police complaints of alleged sex assault offences are prosecuted and less than 1% result in a conviction, in both SA and the UK. That low percentage has almost nothing to do with false allegations. An examination of empirical studies clearly shows that false allegations are invariably and consistently very low across studies published on various continents. Multiple false accusers against one person is unheard of. It's hard enough to get any justice or acknowledgement. An ex was similar in age to the youngest accuser here when she was molested by a trusted family friend, and found it shattering that even her medical doctor mom took no action. Respect and thank yous to those who took action in this matter and to CSA. It's clear that their approach throughout the process involving three investigations and an appeal was balanced and professionally executed.
  9. Being in a position of authority and responsibility yet choosing to groom a 17 year old kid and a 14 year old kid. Despicable.
  10. I'm going to be somewhat judicious about what I buy from them in future. Last night Channel 4 aired The Truth About Temu: Dispatches. Carabiners had fraudulent safety claims and markings (and had never even been submitted to the UIAA), a baby harness which was claimed to be safe up to 15kg broke at the first instance and immediately with a 5kg sandbag, and insulated screwdrivers and wire strippers had fake safety markings and fraudulent certification (What the actual ....). Oh, and all the metal jewellery submitted for analysing had extremely unsafe levels of various heavy metals. Let's just say I ain't buying brakes from these guys. At this rate I'm wondering if the cycling socks and loose shirts for chilled summer rides I got are emitting unsafe levels of alpha, beta or gamma rays.
  11. West Ham midfielder Paqueta's spot-betting charges investigation was triggered by West Ham's own sponsor Betway!? Mofo!!! That's about as bad as Spurs being trolled by their own sponsors.
  12. Must have a particular plan in mind one imagines, 'cos Poch was coming good for them.
  13. "With all these 115 charges over Manchester City and with none of us knowing what's going on it's an absolute disgrace. This cloud is over all of us, and it's been going on for two years." - Rio Ferdinand Most of the off-the-book fraudulent payments to players and their agents were directly intended to improve performance and results. If that was The Arsenal doing all those crimes I'd be decrying my team as being disgraceful. As entertaining as the league has been, the league and FA allowed Man Citeh to cheat their way to a fourth successive title. It's not as if the evidence is in dispute. WTactualF are the FA and league waiting for? An entirely illegitimate record in my opinion.
  14. What a great little treat. Watching Vettel properly stretching Senna's McLaren MP4/8 around Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari during this weekend's Senna tribute. Sounded and looked amazing.
  15. Ouch.
  16. Just as well that you didn't need to translate kliënt or this cutomer might want a refund. 😁
  17. I watch most of the league matches and this season has been a treat, and not just for the bants. What a ride, one of the more entertaining seasons since the '90's.
  18. Eh? Nah bra, we mostdef were not wishing and rooting for our team to LOSE. If the tables were turned I'd absolutely want my team to beat Man City even if one consequence was that Spurs could win the league. Spurs' Jamie o'Hara to Jeff Stelling on Talksport: "I've spoken to a lot of Spurs fans, A LOT, and there's not been ONE fan that wants Tottenham to win tonight. NOT ONE!" The hatred is real. Y'all make it clear that Arsenal live rent free in your heads. The hatred is such that Arsenal now occupies Tottenham's soul, rent free. Heeeee... 😁
  19. Oh dear, my mate's golden retriever pup has more will and resilience. Spurs went into the match with Champions League footie still a good prospect, yet Tottenham fans were dressed in the colours of Man City and wildly celebrating and doing the Poznan when another team scored against them? A shameful display of twisting stupidity into new forms of idiot origami. Big Ange pre-match said "Tottenham supporters 100% want us to win". Little wonder that he was so shattered and disappointed in the post-match interview. "I just want to win and I want to be successful at this football club... so what other people feel and what their priorities are have zero interest in me. Nah, I think the last 48 hours have revealed the foundations are pretty fragile." Shades of Antonio Conte's words and opinion when he left. Dealing with such extreme levels of cognitive dissonance from one's own fans can't be fun.
  20. 😂 Apart from the recent FA Cup loss Spurs have consistently beaten Man City at home in the league in recent years, usually with 1 goal.
  21. Great odds given that Arsenal have won just once in the last 16 visits.
  22. A mate promptly sold his after sharing driving duties in me ol' European coupe. A squatting dog in appearance, and a mongrel to drive. And yes, given his off-kilter judgement, of course he was a Roxette fan.
  23. I've heard Tottenham fans on Talksport and on a couple of Youtube channels say that they'd rather lose than help Arsenal. Of course no pro player even thinks of anything like that. Bizarre that some fans hate Arsenal more than they want their club to win.
  24. Just brilliant. Any chance of us paying you for a print? Edit: And paying for a second one as a gift for a mate who shares weekly nighttime rhino anti-poaching voluntary patrols with me? Him being a multi-award-winning photojournalist, I've no doubt that he'd very much have an appreciation for your work. Edit: Having acquired original pieces and numbered prints I'm aware that there's way more than just the cost of the print involved. I'm keen.
