  1. Jip me on the silver Giant. The dude that won was cooking! All the fast school kids are away on holiday, with them the results would have been much different in the 38km
  2. Great weather, not nearly as much mud as I was expecting. Managed 2nd in the 38km Few beers and a spur buger afterwards is always lekker
  3. Have a look at the Spez Epic Comp 29er, also in your price bracket and specs http://www.specialized.com/za/en/bikes/mountain/epicfsr/epiccompcarbon29#specs Available from BMT in Stellenbosch
  4. And the champ is Burry!!
  5. C group - 38km Sien julle daar. Dit gaan lekker nat wees, maar doenbaar. Wees maar versigtig vir die gladde, harde klei draaie, mens val hard...
  6. It looks cool haha. On my 26er I had 560mm on, upgraded to 600mm just to accommodate bar ends. Used the bar ends a lot, especially when hammering the climbs. Now on my 29er I have a 680mm and don't miss the bar ends. One thing tho, a wide bar can be very uncomfortable if it does not have proper backwards and upwards sweep. The norm on the new bikes seems to be 640mm for 26er and 680/690mm for 29er.
  7. Can't find anyting on I-Spec and Avid

  9. Jip and even Avid, but not the latest models. Looks very cool!
  10. Ek het dit ook so. Gaan ook die 38km doen. Fiks genoeg vir die 57km maar Lourensford is tough en eks nie lus om te suffer nie
  11. Work through the Italian webite. They want the production date under the saddle and pics, see previous link to the post. Maybe try and find out where it was purchased, otherwise just say CWC on the website no paperwork required
  12. +1 and check if the smallest gear on your cluster is 11t and not 12t, and pomp your tyres 3bar Edit: and kick some roadie A$$
  13. Apparently Dangle looks alot like the dude in his avatar, USN kit en als ek sê!
  14. If you like your 3x10, go for it. Other options are XT, XTR and X0.
  15. Thanx for the heads up! Something I want to buy for the GF is more than half of the price there than otherwise
  16. Anyone bought from them before? Comments? http://www.answholesalers.co.za/ Thanx
  17. You'll be fine with Crest, some pimping Hope hubs and Pillar Spokes
  18. Tough to say, its already a decent bike, will be hard to justify any upgrades. Keep this bike as it is, especially because you want to buy another bike as well
  20. Did you hear at Flandria in Stellenbosch?
  21. Ride 18:00 from BMT please RSVP

Hoe werk dit as ek in my eie tent by die start/skougronde wil slaap? My vriende sê ek kan net opdaag en tent opslaan, hoef niks te reël of te betaal nie?
