  1. 1200 lumen is more than enough
  2. Garmin Edge 500 is the answer. No problems with mountainbiking
  4. Hit redail maybe and ask the person who answered whos phone it is, if the phone is still on of course
  5. Dis hy ja. Baie lekker fiets!
  6. Yes it def must be the bling alloy one... I have one, really love the bike!
  7. http://www.bikerumor.com/2013/01/07/new-garmin-edge-810-510-add-mobile-sync-live-ride-tracking-weather-updates-more/ Looks super sweet!!
  8. Stellenbosch Mass #RideForBurry press release To lose a hero hurts. Everybody was stunned by the death of Burry Stander. On petition for the greater safety on our roads and in remembrance of Burry, mass rides are held all over South Africa. Ehlers Smit and Hanno Lategan, two avid local mountainbikers from Stellenbosch, decided to have a ride in Stellenbosch. The event was created on Facebook and shared on Twitter. It was asked that all rides will be kept on hold to have everything in place, to have proper and safe mass rides, but the response from the public was so overwhelming, that there was no way in postponing the Stellenbosch Mass #RideForBurry. With the help of Bobby Behan from Specialized South Africa, the ride is on full swing, and about a 1000 people are expected. The Stellenbosch Mass #RideForBurry will take place on the 6th of January 2013, 8:00 from Die Braak, c/o Bird and Plein Street, Stellenbosch. Riders should please note that the wearing of helmets are compulsory and the rules of the road should be adhered to.

  10. Is geskok. RIP Burry Legend. Icon. Hero. Champ.
  11. Ja meneer! I'm surprised as well, I wanted to replace them, but then I just twisted the grips so the better side is on top again
  12. I really rate the Ryder grips, they last far longer than Esi grips IMHO, because the Esi are so soft. My Ryders are going for 15months now!
  13. Great fun! New updates on Android and iPhone me: http://app.strava.com/athletes/1020160
  14. You can take all the straps off, chuck that in the washing machine
  15. No - you can use Endomondo then export your .gpx files to Strava
  16. The 15km "mtb route" around Voëlklip/Fernkloof is not that great. +1 on the Hemel & Aarde routes
  17. +1 Rudy is excellent value for money, but nothing beats the fit of Oakley Radars
  18. fllippen great! congrats guys!
  19. -Getting that lines perfect -Fitness -Adrenaline Rush -Strava KOM -Friends & family -Coffee -Keeps me sane -Its in my blood -I love bikes
  20. Yes +1 exactly my feeling!
  21. The RS100/200 are tough as nails, all my buddies that have them had it for ages, no problems.
  22. Yes I'm using it on the bike as well with a Polar mount. Basic in terms of on screen detail as per DCR, but when synced with Strava it gives you all the details. The premium heartrate strap is great. My Polar S520 is 7years old and I was keen on a upgrade. I also bought the 210 keeping in mind that I will buy the replacement of the Edge 500 in the future.
  23. Thanx man! Jip the 210 is only splashproof. The FR70 works with a foot pod, so can't measure distance on bicycle. Another watch to consider is the Polar CS300 which is a cycling watch, no GPS and long battery life. Think its waterproof. RRP is R1900. This watch can't measure distance on the run.
