  1. That sounds like fun. Only thing to dread are those looong and endless gravel roads.
  2. I've seen some using their legs as well! speeds up the process
  3. But a car has 4 shocks!
  4. Cash or in kind?
  5. Rather where did Daniel sleep?
  6. Now you two are wasting your time. Jack - go and bite a bunny's ears off (or bum if you prefer) Bob: Have a beer
  7. Well, clearly you haven't done the epic. If your limited insight and expression here is the reason for you not doing the epic then you are just bullshitting yourselve. The freedom challenge aims at something completely different. Bot events are hard, you just gotta be prepared and up for it.
  8. Oh, you asked about bars... Jungle Bars are easy to eat and cheap, Hammer Bars are velly healthy but expensive, Power Bars also expensive but the most energy. Cookies and Cream as well as the Peanut flavour are quite lekker!
  9. 3 back pockets = three course meal: billtong as starter, baby potatoes with salt as main and jelly babies as desert.
  10. The conti Protection versions are useless here in ZA. I tried 3 of them and they all have the same problem with too thin sidewalls and the thread of the sidewalls starting to show and rub through quickly. There are too many rocks here where your tires slide and scratch on. This being the WC, differen in KZA or GP. I went back to tubeless tires and am super happy with the strong sidewalls.

    An Epic Tale

Would you can like to ask us to write the plot down?
  12. I found the speed in A-bunch surprisingly slow. Especially down the M3 and the rest until Smits, even still after that. Rolling past Ocean View towards Nordhoek was also rather slow, however we had a bit of a headwind there. Last year's conditions were better but still this year was close to purrfect. Lazy buggers, no one wants to work! :-)
  13. Of julle parkeer waar nog plek is en ry met die flippen fiets tot die wegspring punt en wanneer julle klaar gemak het terug na jou motor toe. Dis Ape Town, dis nie groot nie en flat.
  14. So? You can post hem in "Ladies and bicycles" or "gay's 'n oil" if you prefer
  15. FY2xTP
  16. I checked three sources: The link from the Argus website for the keen cyclsit with a training plan directly tailored for the world champs, I spoke to a Shamane and I bought a weather frog and asked hm for the forecast. So all that together should give me a reliable basis.
  17. The weather forecast for the Argus weekend is looking rather hectic. Up to what windspeeds would you use deep section wheels? I also thought about wearing no socks to reduce the drag and put baby oil all over (all over) me to reduce the drag. Anyone tried that before?
  18. Dear valued client Thank you for your enquiry, sadly there is no more accomodation available during the Argus. Go and sleep under a bridge. Yours truly
  19. Man, that must be tough on your ego! You also doing the dishes?

    Tennis...

What a great match this is...according to my internet live report (Written). Wished I could watch it!
  21. William does know his ****. No doubt.
  22. "Volldepp" rather! Jack, check the Trans Germany and Trans Schwarzwald out! I signed up for both in 2012 due to not finding a Transalp partner. Both races at around 400,- Euros or about 800,- Deutschmark if we go back to it.
