  1. Nah, I often crack the 100 km/h. It really isn't that difficult and actually doesn't even need skills. Just a suitable decline. A few extra kg's make it even simpler. Talent I see none apart from his celebrating skills - nice shadow work. That left turn could certainly have been take a bit differently. Quite intersting tho how more and more cyclists are carrying video cameras now. I quite enjoyed the Sani2C clips. Geeez, there's a fat cow on the road of the dauphine broadcast
  2. Hmmm....it's not that special to break the 100 km/h mark. But the dude celebrates himself like a football player scoring for the world cup win. hmmm great countryside tho.
  3. If you'd know how the lion drives you'd probably agree that he's not a donor. If he gets in an accident he'll be so stuffed up that only his armpit hair could be donated.
  4. See, I said stupid poll but still voted. Pleasure!
  5. Where's the option "I would ride my motorbike into the back of an ambulance to take me directly to the hospital"

  10. Pansie Berry you are hopefully doing the 50 k!
  11. There are plenty of online shops in Germany. A number of them has been mentioned already - the easiest thing is probably if you get a Bike or Mountain Bike magazine in Germany on your arrival (available for example at any petrol station). In there you'll find way to many online shops which you can browse then. Depending on which bike shop you go to the shop might have a larger choice for commuter/trekking bikes than the purely MTB or road bike choices. However there are also more than enough shops that will satisfy your needs, just depends on where you are. the shops in bigger cities usually have more stuff for the recreational rider. Stuff in shops in Germany is a bit cheaper than in ZA (also depending on the exchange rate) but the online shops are certainly dramatically cheaper than in ZA.
  12. I was thinking about Intern's post over the weekend and increasingly disagree with the statement of Tyler coming clean and thus being forgiven. It takes some courage to reveal your doping past (which, to be honest, is anything but a surprise). On the other hand he might just be a sofite, not able to live with his past as a cheat (the group dynamics only work as long as you are part of it) for the rest of his live and thus decided to come clean. Further, as correctly stated, it is good media coverage for his book to appear and thus free marketing. If I compare it to Erik Zabel and Udo Bölts it's a similar story. The both used PED's and confessed when they couldn't be held liable for it anymore. Both are cycling legends in Germany but both didn't get there clean. I think they are cool guys, but they cheated and I don't look up to them any more as much. No matter how many more times Bölts wins the Cape Epic without actually training for it.
  13. I'll be there to comfort you!
