Yeah you can run in whatever the hell you like really... I have done quite a few races while part of my club and do not even own a club vest yet...

15 minutes is a bit extreme... I ran sub 90 last year and won't go anywhere close to 15 minutes faster on a flat course.

I wouldn't run for at least 3 days leading up to race day. Do a ride loosener the day before instead. With your legs not being accustomed to the running it will most likely do more harm than good, so you want them starting as fresh as possible.

Pretty keen for the half next weekend! Always an epic vibe and the after party at forries has to be day jol of the year!

Haven't read all the pages, but in summary: A bike shop with a physical location sold a fake/counterfeit bike claiming it was original, in the process ripping off an innocent customer. Customer voices that he is unhappy with bike shop and instead of bike shop trying to sort issue as quickly as possible, gets "someone" to post their lawyers response (which makes me feel they know they are guilty as...) Feel sorry for this chap, cr*ppy situation... Hope you sort them out properly!

Was thinking the same thing yesterday while watching the finish, with their strongest competition for the African jersey winning the final stage.... What good did sulking the rest of the tour do? ...after all, don't your sponsors deserve better?

I believe this is because the actual frame was swapped and there are different rules relating to that....

Have to agree, if I had to pull out do to a mechanical like the above after what I have sacrificed over the past year it would leave me with an extremely bitter feeling of the sport. Some would say "that is the way it is"... but why not avoid it if reasonable and possible? Beating someone who had to pull out because of terrible luck does not make you better than them.

Let him ride and suffer. I did it as a laaitie and don't regret it one bit The first one will always be special no matter the conditions.
