  1. Does anyone know if this will this be shown on DSTV today?
  2. So - to add on from this tip.... Often you hear stories of peoples seat posts slipping or they hit a bump and it dropped... Wrap said installation tape around the base of your seatpost, flush with the clamp. If you do a few loops this often takes the pressure off the clamp when you hit a bump and will prevent your seat post from slipping. Often seen it is a little pressed at bottom but gone no further.
  3. Tip - keep some extra insallation tape taped around your seatpost. If you puncture more than once or don't have a tube on you, you can wrap this around the hole of the tube and finnish the bike leg with it. Holds as good as any patch in my experience Comes in as a great make-shift puncture repair kit
  4. No problemo - enjoy!
  5. Rode it today - the road is pretty good actually, can ride it on the road bike no problem. The officials there had no problem with cyclists riding it Enjoy - no cars on it is epic.

  15. Can't wait for it!! As everyone says, it is all about the run... But some good bike training helps a lot to have good legs for the 21kms.
  16. Since the Ironman thread was mixing it up with 70.3 talk I thought it makes sense to start a new thread just for the 70.3. Makes it easier to follow accommodation suggestions, tips and chit chat. So entries are selling fast, did mine today!! Less that 800 left..... Who is in already?
  17. Michael Albasini - Orica Greenedge
  18. I'm not sure what level you looking at, but a road bike certainly opens you up to more riding. My TT bike is a terror to ride anywhere but out in the open roads, which is of course is the ideal but not always possible. I would suggest start on a road bike with some clip on bars and get a full TT bike when you chasing the win.
  19. John Degenkolb - Argos Shimano!
  20. Kind of the point I was making...
  21. Shouldn't these all be on Racetec?
