    This is such sad news. Ironic really that he can race super bikes at 300+ kph and be fine, but riding a bicycle at 30km/h with friends and BOOM, car. Really holding thumbs for a recovery here!

    You go flat out... Durban is not long enough to have the training benefit of "going slower" with the intention of Ironman training. More benefit gained from giving it gas.

    RIP - absolutely horrible. Not to sidetrack this, but was running last night along the promenade in Cape Town and saw cyclist surrounded by ambulances at the circle near the swimming pools. He looked ok. Anyone know what happened and if he is actually ok?

    Horrific! Get more and more nervous on the road every day. CPT this time of year is just crazy with so many cyclists on the road before The Argus together with tour busses and cars everywhere.

    The difference between this test and the previous test is too great. There is definitely a variable that has led to inaccurate data being given. Like mentioned above, I would assess elements where the issue might have crept in.

    3 of us just flew CPT - Thailand return with bike boxes, got back last night. No problem or extra payment required.

    10km run leg after each Cape Epic stage?

    This is my regular morning route... Oddly enough this morning I decided to loop around Camps Bay instead and avoid the pitch black of that stretch - always feel a bit uneasy riding there in winter. Terribly sad!

    Woke up to this qoute this morning which decided it for me: Don't live the same year 75 times and call it a life obviously with a pinch of salt, but I am going to go for the new experiences option this time around.

    I love the EL course but also considering giving it a skip and spending 10 days in Bali.Will cost pretty much the same as the weekend in East London which just seems crazy...
