That was great fun guy's! Must do it again... Little bit of rain at the start, buy hey, all part of the fun... Thanks to Mongoose and Garfield for putting together such a nice, well organized ride, really felt safe with the back-up/support vehicle with the hazards on warning people of cyclists ahead, could see especially the trucks had a lot of tolerance for the group of cyclists. Thanks, Madeleen, and also our tech/moral support guy (Morne) keeping madeleen company. Had lots of nice snacks, sandwitches, boiled eggs, chips, cooldrink, and sweets at Dealesville... wouldn't say we were out on a training ride..

Great initiative, i'll be there, will arrange with Mongoose, ja-wel he's lightning fast and uncatchably strong , especially on the hill's... as for me i will draft behind the support vechile.

PowerTap, Good support for the product and questions very well answered. Should work with my Garmin Edge 800. Will do for my needs. Put my name on the list as well for a "PowerCal".

I have stopped spinning due to poor support and maintenance of the Spinning bikes at VA. I am in the process of terminating my membership and will be concentrating my efforts and taking my chances on the road...

Exactly the reason why i bought a Specialized Sworks Epic. It's a MTB and should handle the terrain and my weight. I want to ride it like i stole it and not have to worry about any part failing on me. I thought of upgrading my sons Giant Trance 2 to an Anthem, but after reading this thread will go the Specialized route. Thanks for fair warning in advance on the Giant top models...

The sand early on in the MTB race was a surprise... the road race route this year was very nice, and the three sisters (3 beautifully curved hills), especially Albreght really made her presence felt...

Also in the market for a cabon ride and had that KTM in the i, enjoy that beauty...

The traction on those tires are beyond belief, need some of those tires on my MTB. ...must be a new design?

Rod, It's all about balance, the more rigit the SS, the more flexible you have to be... you must be a olympic gymnast... Me on the other hand, will snap like a twig... (no rigid SS for me!)

I support all the LBS'es, have bought from all of them, no complaints. However Eagle_i cycle's (homebased) is bit slow on the services!!!
