I rode the lane this morning . 50% of the time I ride it, I end up getting a puncture, but so be it. Yes, it is slower, but my life is worth a little more to me than maintaining a 32km/h average. In fact, looked at this specifically today, I was NOT gunning it and comfortably maintained a 28km/h rolling average, so the "too slow" option is bull!! Take the time out along there, keep the cadence high and legs warm, it you wanna go hard, ride it hard from Bakoven to the top of Chappies and back!! Then tell me its too slow when you are coming home along there

I been putting in about 400km per week for the last month and a half. LOVING smoke free lungs and working towards a goal... Weather is horrid today, but been fantastic for the last few.... just make sure you dress warmly. LOVELY having Chappies pretty much to myself the last few weekends

yip, very well specced and a super price. What I find strange is... I have been on a Uk cycling fourm for a while now and the guys over there are not all about the bike like we are over here. Very strange. over there they ride nice bikes and the like, but not pimped and blinged up and weight weenied to pieces! Also, the riding looks to be more centered around the 100 milers, taking it easier. Things are going to be pretty different I think and bugger that, I am STILL going to go for the Bling Bike ...... This above could well be number 1 add to the stable

VERY sad indeed. I ride that road a LOT! Was going to do the R27 to Duinefontein on Saturday, but think the Coastal Road might be the safer option . R27 = SPEED FREAKS, Coastal Road = NO Shoulder to ride in and VERY narrow lanes for 9km!! VERY VERY SAD to read and my condolences to the family. nyone know who this is as I know a good few riders out in the area.

MAYBE???? about R25000. With the exact same specs. No ways that he forgot to add another zero onto it. I also though about that as first option and did a pretty quick price check, but no matter what I add onto the frame, it doesnt come close to R50K
