  1. I know what you mean HR. I have been there before myself. When you sell a bike, it's a decision that you make and you move on, but when your bike is stolen you never really get over it. It's like catching your GF/wife sleeping with someone else
  2. I'm glad you got sorted Wolfie Welldone to everyone that is helping to get you back on the road. How will the 'dale compare to your previous bike...spec/weight looks wise. That Orbea of your was a really nice looking bike.
  3. That's all very well if you have your car at the Sani overnight stops! Take a jump start kit for a car with you. They have a built-in cigarette lighter
  4. A few car chargers for cellphones come with a USB plug in the rear (like my iphone) which comes in handy when having to use USB adaptable leads for charging my 305/camera etc
  5. They were replaced within a week or you cracked three frames within a week? Didn't you know that because Raleigh makes such k@k frames that they provide LBS' with extra frames for all the warranty claims' date=' that's why their service is so fast....and no stupid questions asked [/quote'] ........ and your Tandem is what make Boet???????? ..... be loyal to your brand or the brand WILL bite back!!!!!!! I was just joking. I actually forgot about my tandem that's collecting dust at the moment while rushing to get my house finished before christmas eeeek!!!!!! Sacriledge!!!!!!!!! I sometimes hate my dad for teaching me the word priorities
  6. Toffee... if I get original proof of purchase with second hand bike, I get warranty too... SNAP! I was thinking the same thing too

  9. As far as I'm concerned the agent/distributor/importer should cover all costs for shipping. Why else do we pay the high price for equipment? When we challange them on their prices they tell us because we get warranties/gaurantees from them that that won't be covered when buying online. So where is this "service" that we pay for? I have a had a few returns to local chain stores over the years, and I have never had to pay for shipping costs to have the items repaired/replaced. Why should cycling be any different?
  10. Just some advice when upgrading parts or a complete...It's easier to forgive than to get permission
  11. That is about a 0,2% error. I would keep the setting at 2074. As the tyre tread wears down the circumferance of the tyre will get smaller, thereby reducing the margin of error even more.
  12. Maybe intravenous
  13. Who is our pedalcare/cyclesure insider here on the HUB? I need to get my 2 MTB's, tandem and road bike insured
  14. I have just read a bit more of column, and it seems he is raging an all out attack on cyclists. From the fact that we wear skin tight lycra to our helmet issues and even trying to say what age groups should be riding bicycles. Who the hell elected this dumb f*cknut to be the fashion police and try and teach us "social ettiquette" as he puts it? The only thing he seems to get right is that he calls the HUB the mecca of cycling in SA.
  15. This guy is such a tjop. I think he is an overweight ugly slob that is just jealous of the people that do look good in lycra and a helmet. He seems to have it in for cyclists and the way they dress. Why doesn't he rather go around and take photos of the litter bugs and cyclists that transgress the laws of the road and maybe in that way get them to clean up their attitude instead of complaining about something that nobody really notices? He seems to think that just because a person in a restaurant has an expression on their face that they are reacting to the cyclists with their helmets on. Grow up Seth!!!!....that is if you ever will
  16. Nice. theres nothing better than a nice flat tummy on a woman You can dress like that everyday fire
  17. Instead of hanging your bikes on a pole, why not get a proper hanger for the bikes? Something like this, but just for bicycles Agteros, you're breaking my heart. I would give my left arm for a space like that
  18. Now that I'm finished building at home I finally have a spare room just for my bikes. I would like to hang the bikes on the wall to make some extra space, but have a few questions. Would any damage be caused to the bearings in the wheel or headset due to extended periods of hanging? Would the front wheel be pulled oval or not from the weight of the bike hanging on it?
  19. Someone please phone Fanie and tell him to get his butt on the HUb so he can post the pic....... please... please... please
  20. So mail it to me and I will post it HAHAHAHAHAAAA... I could post it too. If the pic is as hot as Fire claims and I get banned for 7 days then I won't miss much cause I'll be on leave in any case
  21. Can someone please post the pic so that I can go home and enjoy my holiday?
  22. I think Peugot has stopped producing bikes, so I don't think there will be any lawsuits from a company that doesn't exist
  23. Jy was seker dronk op daai stadium???? want nugter ouens ry OM die slaggate Speed Devil2008-12-17 07:20:19
