  1. Very very nice...I think you need to cut the grass inbetween your rides too
  2. Welldone to Iceid. Just went to the Po and fetched the missus' and my wristbands. It would have been a Christmas present if the PO had sent out the collection slip last year. But at least I've got them now.
  3. This is why I bought a tandem....At least I won't be alone when/if I get bike jacked
  4. I think he sleeps on a double bed and got out on the wrong side this morning
  5. Congrats Wolfie. Hope you have many many many happy miles on her
  6. The bigger the problem the bigger the..... Try ride the bike with the bolts out, it should help loosen the crank. If possible do it on a trainer so that when it does pop off you won't be stuck km's from home
  7. Konaman this was a totally unfortunate situation. I have never had dealings with Avnic so can't speak about their service. But I'm with you on cancelling the order. If I don't get service from a company then I rather go somewhere else. It shows that you are not prepared to put up with dishonest / poor service.
  8. Why would you want to do something like that? S/S is heavy than aluminium. I bought a set of S/S nuts and bolts for my bike rack on my trailer and they already starting to rust, so the quality of S/S today is not all that good. Rather get a set of Alu/Ti nuts and bults. They lighter and don't rust either.

  10. HUH? Black Chilli compound last longer so more kilo's.They also look nicer with the bold writing oon the side wall. I asked those young laaitjies behind the counter what the difference was between the "normal" GP4000 and the GP400-s and they said it was the "newer version", but couldn't say what the difference was
  11. HUH?
  12. The last set I had was a few years ago. After they got burned by the exhaust on the back of the car I never bothered to buy them again. So when i was in Solomons yesterday I picked up a set and hoped that it was a good price.
  13. What would be a good price to pay for a set of Conti GP4000? Solomons has them for R300 each and the GP4000-S for R350 each
  14. Just checked their website. The frame alone is over 60k. Then a person must still buy the fork and add shipping and import costs. It could easily cost 80k to get that frame into SA OUCH!! Suppose after fork all the additions you are looking at an easy +100k!! EINA I think a bike like that will easily cost about 120k+ in SA. If you want to ride tandem then you can always be my stoker on my Raleigh I'm always looking for a partner Okay! I am always looking for a new challenge! The nice thing about changing partners regularly on a tandem is that it is acceptable to go through a number of partners in a year

  17. You are definitely not normal!!!
  18. If they gave away bicycle parts with every meal then I don't think any of us would worry about our weight
  19. We need before and after pics as proof before we give you permission to buy that bigmac
  20. How much? I wouldn't know' date=' but expect to pay nothing less then three gorilla's... I don't know if a person who goes out to buy a pai of shoes like this is interested in form versus function, durability and versatility. Buying any of these constitutes a shameless act of vanity, buying them for any other reason just wouldn't make sense... I mean, who goes out to buy a shoe because they are comfortable? No, that's just ridiculous, you buy shoes for the Bling factor, nothing more, nothing less... [/quote'] Spoken in true style of the KING OF BLING himself
  21. Those DMT's look really sexy. What will the price be on them?
  22. I know what you mean HR. I have been there before myself. When you sell a bike, it's a decision that you make and you move on, but when your bike is stolen you never really get over it. It's like catching your GF/wife sleeping with someone else
  23. I'm glad you got sorted Wolfie Welldone to everyone that is helping to get you back on the road. How will the 'dale compare to your previous bike...spec/weight looks wise. That Orbea of your was a really nice looking bike.
  24. That's all very well if you have your car at the Sani overnight stops! Take a jump start kit for a car with you. They have a built-in cigarette lighter
