  1. Why didn't you take they Omnia that you wanted? Is the E71 touch screen and can it web browse like the Omnia?
  2. Beware of purchasing an Iphone at Vodacom due to the EXTREMELY limited warranty they provide with the phone. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> I had a 3G Iphone which I took out on contract when they were launched last year September. The phone froze on me earlier this month and locked me out. After fighting a losing battle with Vodacom to repair/replace the phone, I now have to claim on my insurance for a new one. Vodacom claims that my phone?s software was corrupted due to 3rd party software, but I never even as much as upgraded the phones software, never mind loading other software. I don?t see how they can make this claim as they are firstly unable to access the phone to see what software is on it and secondly, they say it is the first time something like this has happened. So I ask with tears in my eyes, how the f*ck they know it is a software problem?!!! If they did replace the phone they would have replaced it with a 2nd hand unit, even though it was under warranty. As soon as my contract expires I will be moving to another service provider as Vodacom and Apple are both out to screw the user over and use any excuse to get out of their obligation make good on their warranties. I don?t really want to take another Iphone as they have a sh!t warranty and I?m scared this might happen again. My choice of replacement would either be a Samsung Omnia or HTC Diamond Touchscreen. Does anyone have constructive thoughts/comments on these phones or something similar.
  3. BigH I'm glad you and EM are ok and that your ride did not turn into a tragedy. Hope your adrenalin levels return to normal shortly
  4. How tall are you and your partner? and what size frame are you looking at? why? who wants to know? You saying I'm fat? lol What have you got Speedy? L/M frame I said tall...not wide Raleigh tandems are one of the longest tandems, which gives the stoker a bit more place at the back. I have seen a Rival tandem before and they look pretty short
  5. How tall are you and your partner? and what size frame are you looking at?
  6. The chain on the seatpost is a nice touch....probably to get the bike within legal weight limits?
  7. And a set of spinners
  8. I think that bike is over specced for the intended use, but I'm sure it is big attention drawer when out on the road. As said earlier, it is so wrong in so many ways, but also funny at the same time
  9. By when do you need my hard earned cash?
  10. You just couldn't resist the opportunity to put a pic of yourself on the hub hey?

  12. Thanks Wolfie I will try not to miss this order again
  13. Mmmmmmm.....I just realised it is full moon The missus says that men also have "that time of the month" when it is full moon.
  14. Is it just me or is it the weather? <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Today I seem to be in a bad mood and am ready for a fight. Things I would normally take for granted, smile and accept as par-for-the-course and let slide are really p!ssing me off today. And I swear that the next person that p!sses me off is going to have their lights knocked out.
  15. I usally train with my HR monitor, but leave it off or ignore it during a race otherwise I would take about an hour longer to finish if I race according to HR
  16. Topeak computers work just as well. I've never had any hassles with them. Rather get a model that has cadence. It will be far more beneficial than reading up to 300km/h
  17. I got one on my road bike and another on the tandem and haven't had any problems up to now. They more difficult to get apart than the other makes, but at least that way I know there is no way it can come loose by itself.
  18. Why not? If he had the same experience at PnP or Checkers would you have said the same thing? It doesn't help to defend a store's bad behaviour and poor service just because we are cyclists and have our favourite LBS. If someone gets k*k service at a shop then they should let us know about it.
  19. sorry' date=' no space. in our home that is my wifes space, she is also in charge of the remote. [/quote'] Hey dude, I think you need to do some shopping for your wife. Get her some pots and a stove so that she will leave your remote alone!!! It looks like she has way too much free time if she has time to learn how to operate the remote
  20. 1) Always wear a helmet 2) Never cross the white line
  21. I'd also go with copper slip. I also use it on my wheel nuts on my car to prevent to steel nuts from biting into the alloy rims when tightening them.
  22. If he had a helmet on then it's ok
