I use them. I use the Fruity Prune, and a few others. Carbs are less 16g per serving, so very small amount of carbs. But, they taste great and do provide some nutritional value. I'll continue using them. But, you probably better off with Gels if you're a serious racer.

Agree. I did the Shiraz and really enjoyed the event. Kudos to the organizers for putting on an excellent event in really adverse circumstances. It was my first W2W, so can't compare with previous, but I did not enjoy the food. Breakfast was okay, but lunch and dinner were not good. Really not good. Watching the rugby at Oak Valley on the Saturday night was sublime.

Are they going to change the name to Wine to Wine. Still excited, despite the name/route change. Will be breaking my W2W virginity. Doing the Shiraz.

SA Enduro Champs took place at Cascades in PMB on Sunday (15/10/2023). Matt Lombardi is the SA Champ despite being second fastest on the day. Keira Duncan was fastest but incurred a 5 minute penalty for receiving outside assistance in repairing a rim that was damaged on stage 3. Duncan won every stage. I did Ronde Van Riebeek this year. Highly recommended. I thought it was great value at just under R600. Would do it again.

I use Arse Magic (can't bring myself to say Ass Magic because of the donkey connotations) and it does not have an unpleasant smell pre-ride.
