  1. I clean using paraffin and a chain cleaner tool, i also use a paint brush and go over all the oily bits. I then use diluted clean green to do the rest of the bike and wash the paraffin off. a quick spray down and set in the sun to dry and i'm done
  2. As promised. It rides every bit as good as it looks. With these wheels fitted it weighs 7.29kgs (ex pedals, bottle cages, radar mount and garmin mount) With my Zipp 353 wheels the weight drops to 6.92kgs
  3. I’ll give it a clean today and post a few pics and details. needless to say, it is delicious!
  4. if anyone has any interest i have a set a Colnago CC.01 integrated handlebars that have come off my bike. they are brand new. they came with the bike and were immediately stripped in favour of my selected bars.i opted for a narrower set of bars. 100cm by 41cm(flaring to 43cm) https://ciclicorsa.com/shop/cc01-integrated-handlebar/

    MTB Grips

So I ended up with Ergon GA3 that mini wing really sold it for me I’ll report back on how they go not cheap at R800
  6. What’s your thoughts? to big to plug? fractionally over 1cm cut on the inside. outside is only 6mm or so, but clearly the tires compromised and it will likely run to the full inner 1cm. my thoughts are new tire time.
  7. So the grips on my MTB are toast. on my last ride i noticed my hands and wrists ached afterwards and on checking the grips have pretty much collapsed. looking for something to help with some decent padding as i always struggle with my wrists (broke both in my youth) are ESI grips still the best? i like foam grips but am open to other options
  8. they must be mad saying thats normal. while i do not think it will impact riding, that is absolutely not normal wear. i'd throw my toys and let them know you'd taken the matter to public forum. let the pressure from this thread hopefully make them do the right thing.
  9. In theory you are under insured? don’t be surprised if you see a % calc reduction
  10. There is a Coolheat(Shimano) survey drifting around the hub... it wont help. but you can at least get an extra vent session in on it
  11. Yes roads are worse. but CSA is just as pathetic a organisation as the ruling party and a large reason why cycling in South Africa is in the state it is in today. they once fined my father R1500 for riding in an tiny unsanctioned charity event trying to raise funds for a cancer patient. They add costs to events and add little to no extra value at all.
  12. i'm mad impressed with that weight. would be interesting to see how it rides - my experience is lighter bikes tend to absorb less road noise and that can really take it out of you on longer rides. ie chattery will be interesting to see if that hold true or if they have managed to make the bike smooth
  13. i must PM you and find your local offices. need a fitment on my new bike

  15. is there a shuttle back to the start at all?
  16. i had no idea it could be that easy to get hold of substances like this. a little google foo - you'd have to be mentally challenged to take this this stuff A major concern surrounding Cardarine is the potential side effects associated with its use. In the early days of its discovery, research determined that Cardarine could cause cancer to rapidly develop in mice and rats if taken in doses of 1.4 mg per pound (3 mg per kilogram) of body weight per day (15). At this point, large pharmaceutical companies, which had previously funded the research, discontinued further studies on the drug.
  17. Guess what just arrived! gotta love the box - you know you are dealing with genuine people when the box has good humour about it. yes i am aware the images are upside down. no idea why but every image i upload seems to flip that way. i'll take it up with admin
  18. @Sid the Sloth how did you fair with your search? i am in the same boat as you. i need the freehub and the shimano end cap for my wheels.
  19. mainly my own personal buying habits. if i am searching for something and come to a site that says POA. i often close that site and search for one that actually has a listed price. it also reduces the query numbers dramatically, we often got enquiries about a R200k plus bike for a customer who has a R60k budget. That happens more often than you can imagine with POA.
  20. Hi All, yep our site is currently down. With the Rand being so volatile and ours prices being tied to USD, EUR and AUD rates we are rehashing the site to ensure our quoted accurately reflect the cost of the bikes when importing. unfortunately margins on bikes are so small that these fluctuations cause a real headache. i also am of the opinion that a webpage should reflect the correct price so that customers can make informed decisions on our offerings. if you are looking for anything please do not hesitate to PM me and we will help you out!
  21. i like it. i'll go look at one in store and decide from there. i'm happy to pay for it if it adds value to my riding. love that its merino.
