my father inlaw has used them before and was also very happy so friggin cool to deal with these type of guys

last december we were hamering through the forest i was on the front of the pace line when a fat forest cobra decided to come out the bush i slam on brakes and had my 3 pals behind me slam into me each hit moving me closer scariest fuggin moment ever with a snake still *** myself when i think about it

i read the first 2 comments and decided take the loan buy the bike enjoy the bike you live once if you are not going to go hungry then do it i did it i wasnt happy doing it still get depressed when i make the payment but then i go home and ride the *** out of my babys and feel like a million bucks every month we pay thousands of rands to medical aids incase we get sick the way i see it i invest R1000 a month into staying healthy this is bare bones comment i know there are more factors to consider my 2 cents

look i cant say wich is best because there is to much to take into consideration and i havent ridden a dual suss 29er but what i can say is i have just done the homeward bound at a race pace on a 29er hard tail i was a bit eina afterwards but i would easily do a sani or a berg to bush on it a epic or jobur2c i would think twice there i would seriously consider my zula if im not racing fitness plays a big part in how you handle a HT

i might have a small weiner but ive never used a better one

i bought a zula in jan but got tired of always being the first 26" over the line so i bought a sl929 2 weeks ago i like the down to business feel of the 29er but honestly cant wait for the zula frame to get painted so i have it for the base kilometers in december oh and you got great taste in bikes pal

A buddy and myself were riding along the canal in richards bay 2 weeks ago when we saw a hippo not even 10meters from us then the plank pal of mine wants to pose for a picture needless to say heart rate goes into overdrive very quickly

then at 10AM have a 1kg poo

Ok so i decided to move to a hard tail 29er with round rings my other bike was a heavier zula with Q-rings i have noticed a dramatic loss in power the new bike is stiffer and lighter climbs beutifully and feels awsome in the singletrack but on a flat road i run out of gas chop chop im going for a fitting on friday hoping that might help any one else experience the same problem?

i have had my zula since january and i just love it my confidance on single track and hairy down hills has improved in leaps and bounds i would not part with it for any thing it has sadley been relgated to training bike as ive decided to get serious with the racing and buy a 29er hard tail tired of always being the first 26er in

love this forum i was worried about tires on my new 29er ht asked the bike shop to put on ikons front and back but i dont think it will help taking delivery saturday riding H2H sunday
