  1. maybe best take it to the bike shop and watch the mechanic the little ****s work fast so record it if you must
  2. you can push those triggers until they bend if you have the low and high right the derailer will not let the chain off
  3. very easy fix undo the shifter cable adjust the low setting so that the jockey lines up nice with the small cassette ring then it should not fall off there again you will need to go through the gear setting process from there again the chattering should just be a cable tension problem or like afdelite said derailer alignment if all else fails it might be a bent derailer I have seen bikes come brand new with slightly bent hangers then best take it to the lbs but its cool you trying to sort it out oh yes and you tube is the bizniz
  4. whaaat I take it you don't do that every week rest pal rest my training has become less with more intensity and I have seen a massive improvement but I get more rest now and if the legs are tired I chill and I am enjoying more now than I did a year ago

  7. you know what you are right im taking a grand off my zula on the classifieds
  8. 4 link over lap hard tail and two for dual suss remember big ring front and big ring back and not through the derailer
  9. go to the wolf tooth components website got it there
  10. used the zee free ride is working a charm and doesn't cost a arm and a leg paid about R1700 for ring and derailer
  11. pal I put my 32t wolf tooth on two days before the hill2hill I know I shouldn't have but I like doing stupid things I wanted a time of 5:30 and managed a time of 4:30 i know the route was shorter and there was a tail wind and a few technical bits were taken out the important thing is it still had 1780 meters of climbing and i only had to run 20m up a hill because a chap in front of me lost it a bit i will never go back to the 2x10 setup again it has just transformed my climbing there is no granny gear to sissy out to so you land up going up the hill faster and pacing yourself much better
  12. i have the 929 brilliant value for money and i rather like the 2013 shape
  13. i have two neighbours across from me who dont seem to understand that in a complex you have other people living in close proximity very inconsiderate mofos when it comes to noise the swine often falls asleep in his car after a hard night drinking leaving his garage open im so going to let him have it next time i leave on at 4 in the morning for a ride
  14. only thing the shop does is true my wheels and thats only because i havent bought a stand yet

  17. our lbs mechanic was telling me a story the other about him on the rollers says it was raining so he setup in the kitchen started getting really into the session and then the next thing he remembers is waking up on the floor with fridge door bent and buckled over him he guesses he was doing close to 50ks an hour when the crap hit the fan i rolled with tears in my eyes when he told me the story
  18. i noticed that if you only have one layer of tubless tape the pressure forces the sealant through the tape and then what i can only guess is amonia (from smell) eats the aluminium nipples which then go now i put double tape and replaced all my nipples same time should be good for a while

  22. I agree even if the road is quiet doesnt mean you can ride like a toss who makes the call between quiet and busy? should just get into the habit of doing the right thing the first time doing this sets a *** example to a newbie in the group who perhaps hasnt got the common sense and experience of reading road conditions then 2 weeks later it boo haha newbie is dead the experienced guys need to advocate safety all the time
