  1. I prefer 32Gi for shorter races, but Perpeteum for longer (over 4/5 hrs) races....
  2. I also rate Mankele. Other options: misty Valley and Harties area - lots of accomodation and places to ride....
  3. I like Hammer Perpeteum for long rides....
  4. Thx Z, will give her a ring later on...!
  5. Thats exactly what I would of liked. If I dont get any suggestions Ill start googling the people on the list to see who is more into sports/cycling...
  6. Ok, Suddenly the Jhb or Discovery isnt important....
  7. Does anyone know a good one or goes to one in the Gauteng area? Preferably one that is on the Discovery list (so one gets Vitality points). I would prefer a sports nutrisionist.... Tx
  8. Campag
  9. Inland my vote goes to Sabie....
  10. Has anyone here bought any of the Thule luggage bags? I am looking for a nice duffle/overnight/gym bag and see they have a nice range..... Also, where is the best to get one? (local vs import)
  11. I just said serving, never glutamine...
  12. It is recommended to take a serving before bed time... (thats when you recover the most and it works the best). I also like to take a serving after a workout
  13. Try and get a Spez Epic...
  14. I take a teaspoon every night before bed. Took more at one stage (when training for IM) - but then developed an allergic reaction! So back to 1 teaspoon...
  15. Yes, various times - no issues
  16. I also got some with my CRC order - used one for a short training ride. Didn't feel anything, taste not bad. What are the main aim of these?

    Which one?

Take the Scalpel! Otherwise you'll always wonder!
  18. Allright, I will fit some first, thx. Ja - import is high (more like 60% at the end) - but sometimes still better than buying local. Just wish I could find a nice pair of Assos somewhere....
  19. I want to get myself a Campag bib, and usually take a meduim in other brands - but according to their chart, I should take a small??? (I wear a size 32 pants - which is about 82 cm). Are they a big make or what is going on?http://cbike.com/images/campagnolo_sizing_chart.jpg
  20. No, becasue it has better research and production facilities. I dont have a problem with Evox, but you can't compare the 2. Start looking at sugars etc and you will see the difference
  21. I would rather recommend Optimum Nutrition. They are expensive, but you know you get the best... It only feeds your muscles and should not add weight. Casein protein is a slow release which will "trickle feed" your system during the night. Another tip is to eat half a tub of low fat cottage. Does the same
  22. I have them on both my bikes and no issues!
  23. Sparkling water....
  24. I am in mining and even though land gets disturbed, it is possible to rehab the areas with great success. People are quick to show fingers at coal mining companies for disturbing nature, but when Eskom goes down because of a lack of coal, its a different picture. It basically comes down to responsible mining and most big mining companies have a very good rehab & community program in place. And development programmes (ex The Exxaro MTB academy).
  25. Where do you get Assos pants for meduim value for money?
