  1. Oh. I see someone else calls it Carbone. Or was that just a new age spelling error. I call it Carbone, because it sounds fancier, and of course, when it does go, it generally looks and sounds like a compound fracture of the femur. Bones are light, and STRONG, but man can they break!
  2. Never heals. Just becomes scar tissue. Ride tomorrow. Stop crying.
  3. This thread is useless without pictures.
  4. Right! I always wondered what Bloem was there for. It's bloody cold enough for servers!
  5. Hey Rob_MTB! Chill man. All good...and I think those little Clios looked smart - if you are into Renaults, that is.
  6. The tree on the left is an Erythrina caffra - Coastal Coral tree. On the right is a Strelitzia nicolai - Wild Banana. But the street sign is not KZN! Where the heck was this taken. I bet Florida. Where the only indigenous plants grow in the swamps. Along with a whole wack of invasive Arum Lillies - also fro KZN. Well, at least they appear to have imported our potholes as well! And that is a dreadful bathing suit !
  7. LOSERS...
  8. Yep, thanks. Those are the MAX. I am not too sure of the spacer option though. The pivot bolts are singles at this point and do not go right through both bearings. They are also situated high up in the frames, and already have a 3mm spacer on one side. Just a bit worried about lateral force, and why they would have gone with 7mm here when they use a 5mm lower down (where the bolt does go right through).
  9. Oh. CRED: 9/10.
  10. Chap. Zakkery the one. The int. is 63900. Confusion. RUSH Sports - R31.00 normal , R45.00MAX. And all others about R20 cheaper than BMG !
  11. Like, Hheey doood! No arguments there doood. Chilled is the rule! So chilled, that 'flickers' aren't really like, necessary like. Turning a corner is, like, a career move, like. Traffic filter lights are, like, a friendly way of playing "no, you first"... I love Capetown bru. There are far less X5 drivers. The Clio Brigade: Yep. There's a story. Renault Clios, pink, sick blue, green, all with a GT stripe?? , and every one had a driver who was just so, like chilled, like. Probably genetic CT. In Durbs it would undoubtedly have been someone on an E comedown. I don't know. You live there! Is it like a club or something? I just know that your latest problem is the Mini Clubman crowd.
  12. Do you seeketh a free Hub T-shirt there, disciple? Size XL?
  13. Ok. Rubber bullets loaded and ready to rock ! Anything with a 'wang' or 29" is fair game.
  14. THE END !!!
  15. Better be careful there son! Will have to watch your 'back' down there in The Pink Capital. Yep. You was slow, and I already phoned the FAG. Therefore: CRED = 3 / 10 Just a comparison: Agent: Upper bearings + all the bits I don't need = 580-850zar (??? go fiqure) Agent: Lower bearings + all the bits I don't need = 487-550zar (??? go fiqure) Rush: Complete set of bearings - what I REALLY need ! - R435.00 (x 2 = FREE SHIPPING) +110 for RUSH.
  16. Cred: 10/10 You are the winner chap. And as usual 110% service from Rush.
  17. No. Good point. Cred: 6/10
  18. Upper linkage to (seatstay) swingarm. It's the lateral forces I am worried about. There is already a 3mm spacer between bolt and bearing on the outer face.
  19. Thank you: Credibility = 4 / 10
  20. Take it back. Tell 'im if it don't work this time, ye shall cause more injury than his bike did!
  21. I was going to put this in the Engineering section. Then decided against it...for Hubbish reasons. I have an* odd size (read: OEM-made-for-you-by-us-so-that-we-can-sell-you-all-the-bits-you-don't-need-when-the-tiny-thing-is-worn-out) bearing. 19 ODx10IDx7mm wide - 63900. *In fact I need 4 number such bearings. I have 2 options: 1. Buy the bearings PLUS the Pivot bolts AND upper rocker, from the Agents for about 850zar. 2. Replace them with 6800 19x10x5mm with a 2mm spacer pressed into the swingarm seat. This at about 160zar. The 6800 can take a 1720nm static load, and a 840nm dynamic load. SAFE? Anyone else done similar? Yes. You can ask what bikes. But it ain't relevant just yet. Credible replies?
  22. Nope. Jobuggers sure take the cake, but in The Province everyone DRIVES. In CT, well, I really do not know HOW anyone survives in that traffic. I have seen better driving skills, and road sense, in central Africa. For dinkum, when roadrage becomes a CT thing, then they are ALL going to kill each other - gone, the lot. Oh, with the exception of the Clio brigade, who are very polite, naf, smiley and forgiving. They will survive, but they live on veggies in tents someplace towards the other side of the mountain, I think. At least holidays there will be cheaper...and safer.
  23. No worries. I understood you.
  24. You both missed my point. It's the "allowing to breed" gene pool that is a problem. Not medical science and it's ability to advance and heal people. Although the Specialists of this world do take the "prolonging" to a bit of an extreme. I do believe however that this often has more to do with finances than with a hippocratic oath.
