  1. <script language='javascript'> </script> 100kms is a bit FRIS for me, I am going to try and enter a few marathon distance events next year ( bit of a shortage of those up here in Gauteng though)
  2. Such sad news bru, feels like we all got to know him through your posts and pics. Such an awesome companion. Condolences, may you find comfort in knowing his pain is gone and his memory will live on.

  9. Dude, that artwork against the wall, awesome! Any details on it?
  10. I built up my wife's bike last year on a Ghost MISS RT frame, it 26er with 100mm travel front and back. Thinking back I should have tried to find something plusher, 120mm range. The issue is that if she is not too confident she will want that saddle pretty low, this limits your options in terms of trying to get her onto a small frame
  11. My two girls, Small one is a yorkie, hair is cut to look like her sister
  12. Thanks for the headsup, so I have recovered from my bout of flu and keen to get back to building my base. Do you perhaps have any files of your Groenkloof and Moreleta runs? Would help alot

  18. I recently started running there, damn hard terrain
  19. Yeah, it not that big, however I guess this will be geared towards the more technically inclined. Could make for a good XC type park
  20. Maas, knop soos n appel in my keel.
  21. Ja you might have to give me a few months to get anywhere close to your level of fitness but you never know, we might bump into each other at Groenies and Moreleta. Those Adidas are the Kanadia XC 2's if I am not mistaken. What are the yearly rates and can I buy a ticket at the entrance? Thanks
  22. Have to agree with this, even the shorter events are at least a 60 min drive and are costly to enter (relative to the cost of running in Groenkloof). I decided that I will however do some of the events if i can convince some mates to join as this will add a social element to it
  23. Have to admit that I have not been on the mtb in almost 2 months, been running exclusively and I have to say that (at the moment) I am far more amped for a run than I ever was for cycling. I think I just went over the 70 km mark from mid-April. Doing max 10kms a run in Groenkloof at the moment as I am a bit cautious of going too hard too fast.
  24. I have a pair of those as well. These days I am running in these bad boys http://www.trailrunningreview.com/reviews/generales/thumbs664/1_432.jpg
