Ombudsman is almost as bad as insurance companies and often go inline with their policies...... .. With so many crooks in this country and people making false claims all over im not surprised insurance companies are suspicious.. but then the few of us who pay and hardly ever claim ,even just take the knock on the chin sometimes.. get screwed over on a legit claim.. Not sure there is a legit down for the client insurer... they will always despute if they can .. its like guilty before proven innocent... All ive got to say is *&$# them, gave me the run around forever.. be sure to update and re-check the small print in your policies evry 6 months... cause they change **** and add without notifying the client.. its bollocks... big school fees learnt for me.. lost 2 bikes. I will put money in an acc in future have already started and when my bike stolen again out comes that cash.... Will only pay medical aid from now on and even thats the biggest rip . Seems like you ride too hard for XC bikes.. maybe its time to get a trail or freeride rig.... and throw the the zaskar and karakoram to the jeep track.. dont know of either being bulletproof off road... zaskar is race machine and karakoram race machine for okes with a boep ..
