I did. Just received a mail to say they banned the account.

Is there still a min amount of forum comments until someone can post a For Sale add?

I think it only works where you block sommeone and then you dont see their posts. Maybe a change of username.

Just tried that but lol pretty easy to figure out what my new user name is by searching my old one :(

Hi I am unable to find this feature I'm just looking to block someone but don't necessarily care that I cant see them, though I don't want to but care very much that they can see me (ex husband).  So looking for a feature that blocks my posts from them.  If the paid version has a proper block feature I will get that.  Or if I change my username will you still be able to search me on the old one?

  4. So got the bike, clothes, shoes and bike rack.  But now I'm starting to remember how the buying never ends 😅.

    1.  What light is recommended for night riding.  Still have my led lenser so can always just use that.

    2.  What chain lube should I get use to use squirt is that still good.

    3.  This seems fine and pretty decent should I get something better quality?

Check this out on takealot: Bike cleaning tool set 7 pcs with chain cleaner Cycling cleaner
    https://www.takealot.com/bike-cleaning-tool-set-7-pcs-with-chain-cleaner-cycling-cleaner/PLID70395501

    4.  Do you buy specific cleaners for bike or just use car wash?

    5.  What bike maintenance things should I absolutely get (got a hand pump and a multi tool without the bike chain attachment, and a couple of boms)

I'm going to be riding alone and doing some shorter races until I feel I can comfortably do atleast 50km before riding with others so need to rely on myself.   (I won't enjoy group rides if I feel I have to kill myself not to keep people back)

  5. I always offer way lower than I think they would accept then they usually counter with the lowest offer they would accept.  I did this when buying my house offered R250k below on a house that was already priced lower than all the comparables on the market, instead of countering they accepted I felt done in 😅 because they didn't counter now I never know if they would have gone lower.

Yes, the signage at Wolvespruit can be confusing. Have found myself on walking trails and also found walkers on cycling trails.
The only suggestion I could make is take a pic of the map for reference but then again the signage should be such that it is not needed.
You do tend to learn the trails though and the new flow line on the top makes up for all the hiccups IMO.

MMMM I was thinking for doing a night ride at Wolvespruit next week but maybe I should go there in the day time first

    Side entry bottle cage.

And if the top of the bottle scratches underneath the top tube, then put a few washers in under the bottom bolt of the bottle cage to shim it so that it angles down and away from the down tube.

Or get a holy rail and move the bottle cage down lower in the frame to get it to  fit.

Then the bottle will touch the rear shock

Do you already have a bike in mind or are you still shopping around? Budget depending I can assist in getting you a bike before the weekend 😁. Good luck

Still thinking if I'm going for a long term commitment or something to play around with just a little till something better comes along :)

You are over analysing this. Just get on your bike and ride.

You don't need an eBike to keep up. Give it a month or two and you will be where you were 8 years ago.

I have basically decided just to get the Bike and hope for the best :) the price of eBikes really assisted in the decision hopefully I will have a bike by the weekend

I'm also based in the east and can put you in touch with some people whom you can ride with. I am on the other side of the spectrum, I very seldom ride outdoors. I basically only ride indoors. Hate is a strong word  for cycling but it is close. I have various reasons and it is sad I know . I will also be able to get you going with a bike as well

Thank you I'm definitely looking at buying second hand 😆.  As I don't really care about a few dings and scratches and looking to get something value for money.
