    It was done on purpose ... he was coming down the road...a white polo had started to pull across the road into the parking , saw him and stopped ... he came past and left a big spray of spit on her window... that where the other couple got some ... then he did the same thing to another car that was double parked next to the pizza shop down the road ... If you upset at cars stop and say something... don't go spiting on everyone

    Back to topic. I totally agree with the OP comments. As someone who lives in the cradle the Cycle Lab groups are leaving a bad taste in the mouths of most of the land owners there. Not to mention the amount of discarded road bike tubes I find in the bushes when we have been removing some of the invasive plants.

    Today I witnessed the most tasteless behaviour of a fellow mountain biker that totally appalled me. Coming down the road from table mounting in Vredehoek past the spar , a Scott spark rider in Scott riding kit found it was a good idea to spit on everyone he passed on the road mostly cars, but I happen to see a middle aged couple get hit by his careless aim. I believe this is a safety concern with covid and all, I think this kind of behaviour disgusting and totally unnecessary. I am just so glad you were not on a ebike ..... so we can put your dispicable behaviour in the non ebike category.

    Used to find lost items ...not stolen items ... it will warn any potential thief that they are being tracked ... If they have a app device that is. if not you won't be able to track is anyways...

    I have a confession.... I am 42 and I have a e-bike .... not because I need one.... but because I want one... and I absolutely love it and don't care what anyone says. I am not obese, and I don't have any kind of medical reason to need one. Judge all you want.

    Probably the same place I would post about the XC non ebike guy who threw his energy bar wrapper on the ground during a ride in the cradle .... There are chops in all disciplines.

    Yes it's our fault we using all the electrify to keep our batteries full. But if they allow ebikes in the Cape_Epic we will happily give back the electricity into the grid.

    Im not disputing they were not on ebike, but to blame all bikes because of that closure is like blaming all analog bikers for the closure of kliprug trail ... And I can bet more trails in the world have been closed due to analogs than ebike .... so stop blaming the bikes and start blaming the people riding them. I might as well blame all BWM drivers cause one twat did not use his indicator this morning.

    Exactly .... but was he on a ebike ? NO . So to come with a statement that ebikers are cause the closure of trails is not accurate. twats are causing the closures ... not the bikes they riding

    I can promise you that there are more twats on Normal Mountain bikes than ebikes ..

    The twats the got the trail closed between Contemans and Hillcrest (kluiprug I think) were not on ebikes. Does that mean we must see all non ebike riders as the problem ?

    I think to get a true reflection as I would also be very interested to see this , and I know you did the enduro event ... and the course for the bikes was the same as the non ebike ... so perhaps we can look at the results there to see whats faster downhill ? Im sure on some courses the ebike will be faster ...but I suspect the majority of the downhills the Analog is faster?
