  2. What is the price range here? Mailed them for a price on their range. Will get back to you ASAP. Thanks
  3. What is the price range here?
  4. I swapped mine. just undid the housing and reattached to the other perch. No bleeding no fuss. NO BREAK FLUID! Use your MX bikes fork oil, same as mineral oil.-
  5. Does the South Africa maps come with a SA purchased 705 standard? or are they extra. Would you be able to use the 705 in a vehicle on the odd occasion?
  6. Clearwater Trails KZN.............................!
  7. One defanate drawback with having to put your spare tube into a tubless.......... Unholly MESS and selective words come to mind. Yes, does not happen often but you dont want it too......
  8. My only concern with tubless is running slightly softer, barreling down a hill at 70kmh and your tyre pops off...... It's constantly in the back of my mind. With tubes I seem to feel safer for some reason. Not sure why cause you will meet the same fate if the front tyre fails.TNOSE_E2008-09-18 02:37:46
  9. I run tubless in one bike and filled tubes with liners in the other (this bike gets ridden more). The tubless is a Joe's stans conv. Run same tyres on both bikes. I have had much less issues with the filled tubes than the tubless. The tubless is lighter though compared to my setup with the liners. Also std (branch through tyre) puncture (plug) repair is faster with the tubless than changing a tube out with the filled tubes. But I must say I have less issues with filled tubes and liners.
  10. Mampara, Do you use tyre liners with the filled tubes or not?
  11. You can use a shock/fork cover. basically material that covers the tube and fastens via velcro. The whole lot will then compress with the fork/shock as it does its job offering some protection.
  12. It now has new seals so I don't want to damage them! Is 600 fine enough? Start with a 600 then polish with 1000 water paper. Use circular movements round the nick so you dont create a groove.
  13. Use very fine water paper to sand the area smooth. I do this often on the MX forks when I get stone chips etc. But remember the damage to the seal might have already been done from the nick. But worth a try.
  14. Does it give you a better hold and weight distabution on your palm?
  15. Yes, thicker padding for larger hands. Not bothered with soft or hard etc.
  16. Does anyone have any experience using thicker diameter Grips? Or grips better suited for those of us with caveman paws? What are some of the different products on offer?
  17. I have done some service work on Magura hydraulic clutches on MX Bikes. They only use mineral oil and if other oils are used, the seals (black rubber and not black blubber ones) swell beyond use along with the diaphragm. Don?t be tempted to throw in DOT anything brake fluid, it WILL cost you.
  18. The only problem with running the cable inside, is if a fat tyre is used (2.3). When serious mud packs on the wheel, it clears against the fork. Could grind the brake line somewhat. TNOSE_E2008-07-10 01:49:03
  19. DR - So I could use a 2.3 Tioga Yellow Kirin Magnum 66 tyre for tubeless?
